Myself, husband and 3 children had an overnight stay in the Daffodil cottage it was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean! The place is beautiful and soo tranquil, communication with the owner Harry was great and the children loved the hot tub and spacious fields to run around in! I will be returning and staying longer next time!
An oasis of peace and tranquility in the town of Letterkenny, County Donegal, this spectacular Georgian house stands within its own private estate overlooking Lough Swilly.

This was an unexpected joy to find. 300 year old manor with huge rooms. Dinner and breakfast are amazing in the dining room. Also a must try is their strawberry gin and tonic drink in the drawing room before dinner!

It was wonderful! Compact, with everything you need.
My only problem, and many places have this problem, is that the rooms need luggage racks so one doesn’t have to get down on the floor to get in the closet.

Would not stay here again. All the negative comments were correct. I should have taken them into account more, but thought that being from Donegal that I would take them with a pinch of salt.

Home was cozy and full of love. Helpful host and adorable grandaughter. Breakfast was perfect and beautiful view of lake. Comfy bed and room was nice. We would stay here again. They both helped us figure out our plans for visiting close by areas in our timeframe. More than anything they made us feel welcomed.

It is a beautifully quaint old town and an equally quaint but luxurious B&B. Everything you required was there abd the bed was very comfortable. The hosts, were friendly, wuthout being too much, and gave excellent advice and recommendations for our stay, they couldnt have been more helpful. Delighted to have chosen this accommodation.
Also the best place to eat in Ramelton is,the Bridge bar, food was sublime and consistently good. Other great stopes were Conways for music, craic and good banter and the Blue Goat gourmet foid store for excellent freshd, deli and store cupboard food stuffs

Ramelton has a few but rich in quality amenities and outlets. The Bridge Bar Restaurant is exsquisit!! Fine dining above an endearing pub. The Blue Goat delicatessen is utterly astounding in quality produce… A truly dangerous place to visit!! We never leave empty handed!! Lennon side Butcher is first class and great value and Conway’s Thatched Pub shouldn’t be missed!!

A very quiet, old style village, very close to Letterkenny.
A very quiet, old style village, very close to Letterkenny. Ideal if you don’t want to be in Letterkenny. There are at least two very good country house restaurants within close driving distance, without having to go into the town. Ramelton is on the water and is very pretty in places.

The view from the house was great and it was so peaceful and quiet. Just what we were looking for coming from a busy urban life. We loved the interior and the rooms, which were spacious. Elizabeth has kept the house spotlessly clean and provided all the amenities as advertised. Ramelton was only a short drive from the house, so it was convenient to get supplies/food or go for a pint. It also helps that Elizabeth lives close by in case you need any help.
We loved everything about this property
Excellent location
Perfectly clean
Gorgeous interiors with some quite funky
artwork !…deli shop just below apartment selling delicious foods some art /prints also
Will definitely return and can certainly recommend to anyone wishing for a peaceful and luxurious stay in Ramelton
The location is spectacular, very remote. You hear the sound of the cattle, birds, water. Just lovely. The house is super cool and very old. Was cozy and welcoming. Loved the little town, Ramelton, up the road. Had a great dinner, and found an old pub. Everyone was so nice.
Owner was extremely helpful.
Location excellent.
Not your normal branded type hotel, a large Victorian House, so a very nice experience. Room had a small seating area & large free standing bath room & a seperate shower room.
All was good. Ramelton is a nice spot, the B&B was great with comfortable bed, plenty of sockets which one needs these days, the breakfast was very nice with good variety, and the hosts were very nice.
