Located in the heart of Dublin city center in a historic building, The Gresham Hotel benefits from its own restaurant 'Toddy's', and a bar.

Excellent all round. One tiny little bit of feedback and it's for all the right reasons. When we went to breakfast at least eight different staff asked us how we were. We are used to one greeting us, eight felt a bit excessive. But great staff.

The Temple Bar Hotel Dublin by The Unlimited Collection is a 5-minute walk from Dublin’s 2 main shopping streets, Grafton Street and Henry Street.

No mattress protection on the mattresses? Quilt had stained. Mold in shower. Extra pillow were dirty. Noisy across the street with the store getting deliveries.

I was there for a meeting and when meeting was I left immediatly to travel back to N. Ireland.I ate out at a Italian Restaurant in Rathgar and did not avail of any other facilities or attractions in Rathgar. To summarise the only reason I stayed in Rathgar was because that was where my meeting was being held.

I liked that the village was very walkable and I could even walk to and from Dublin City Centre from there ( a long walk if you are not a frequent walker). Rathgar itself had a lovely bookstore, an awesome antiques shop, conveniences and welcoming pubs. I recommend Brady's (a 10 minute walk from my guesthouse), and The 108, which was a 5 minute walk for me. Both these pubs had very good food and atmosphere.

    Will we stay again?

Will we stay again? Probably but maybe only for 1-2 nights maximum, and not 5. Lets face it , dublin is expensive. You cant ask for 5star, yet it was disasspointing to not have the room cleaned half the time and that you had to ask for room cleaning ( something you only know once you are in the room ). There is no staff, it is unmanned; there is a sink in the room not in the toilet; the room is small . This we knew beforehand , so zero complaints there. The TV, only a few local channels worked, but we werent there to watch tv anyway. The ammenities were good and fair and the bed was good. Staff over the phone was helpful.

    Clean and functional.

Clean and functional. Rooms are small with a small bar for hanging cloths and no closet space. They are set up to accomodate observant jews on Saterday as far as manual keys etc. Walking distance from Chabad kosher store and from the synagogue.

Away from hustle & bustle of Dublin City centre.

Away from hustle & bustle of Dublin City centre. Good local cafes, bars, restaurants & shops + short walk or bus to Terenure or Rathmines for more choice. City centre is only quick bus journey, (use a leep card to save money) away for tourist destinations & night life.

Totally unorganized. They sent me my codes after I left. I also received an email that I was never there. The room was not clean and the location is far from downtown. I would not recommend this place

Alan made us feel very welcome and had thought of everything to settle us in . Very good information on local restaurants, supermarkets and an easy bus ride into the centre of Dublin. Rathgar is a very safe and lovely suburb and very quiet. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Great value with free parking in the lovely village/suburb of Rathgar a few kilometres south of the city centre. After a coffee in Rathgar we took the 10 minute bus ride into the city centre.
