IrelandMy trip started with a lovely welcome from Lisa, she showed me around the site and gave me excellent tips on where to and see, big bonus Lisa recommended a lovely place for morning ☕coffee just 10 minutes walk away she made sure I had everything I needed, and introduced me to her beautiful big huggable dog, I would happily have brought him home, all in all an excellent x-ray

United KingdomPeter, the host was very welcoming but not intrusive which I like. I came and went as I pleased and didn't feel watched as you do in some BnB. Nice comfy bed. I was worried about the shared bathroom but it wasn't a problem at all. It was right beside my bedroom. Everywhere was spotless.

Beautiful countryside, plenty of amazing walks and sites close by. Everything you want is within 30-40mins drive or closer. Strawberry picking, beach, bigger town, wood walks, river walks, mountains. New Ross is a beautifully quaint town that sits on the River Barrow. Some of the streets can be steep at times but it is well worth a stroll with dozens of various small shops on the east bank that one doesn't see anymore in Ireland. Interesting heritage markers also exist throughout, it is obvious that the town makes a rewarding effort. We visit Family in New Ross. I am not sure it’s a town that you would want to vacation in although it’s not a bad base to get around to other places if you’re driving. The rooms were very nice but had an issue with staying cool. Normally you wouldn't need A/C but went during a heatwave and couldn't get comfortable. The windows barely open and they don't have any fans to provide any relief. Wasn't much for breakfast, no hot food. Dinner was very good. Nice town and easy to get around .People in town friendly and very helpful.Nice relaxed atmosphere in the town.The shops are nice and well laid out with good stock for a town its size.Business People are making a good effort to attract customers.
