Cashel House is our best hotel and dining experience ever. My wife and I came away feeling truly blessed, honoured and privileged to have been be there. The room, the staff, the ambience, the setting, the food (breakfast and dinner, a feast for the senses), words could not do it justice, perfection, delivered with such genuine joy, humility and great craic and humour.
Thank you Ray, Mary Jane, all...Cannot wait to be there again.

Felt at home from the moment we got there, including the doggo :) she was welcome everywhere except the dining room which makes sense. But we got a beautiful set up in one of the nearby sitting rooms. Really nice views, kind staff, lovely cocktails. The bar area was my favourite with a big open fire :) We were unaware the Clifden Arts Festival was on, so the room was really good value for money and the hotel provided taxi numbers if we needed them. They really thought of all the little things.
Situated in Clifden and with Alcock & Brown Memorial reachable within 5.1 km, The Ivy Rooms features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

It is a beautiful village on what feels like the edge of the world, surrounded by beautiful beaches, wonderful nature colours in a perfect setting. Perfect for group, family or solo trips. Great variety of pubs and eating choices in Roundstone village itself. I will be back for another visit and I will recommend to my friends too. Its a long drive over from Dublin but 100% worth it

I am biased because my mother came from there, but I can't imagine a more beautiful place. We ate at the very friendly Shamrock Bar and also at O'Dowds seafood restaurant and O'Dowd's cafe. It is a great small village, founded by Alexander Nimmo in the nineteenth century, so full of colourful terraced Victorian houses and easy to talk round . It has spectacular views of the mountains and sea.

Roundstone has maintained its laid back appeal over the 50+ years I have been going there. it never fails. The various bars and eating places are all of a very high standard. the local beaches are probably the finest in the world and the surrounding countryside is stunning.

Roundstone is a small, pretty place so with not much to offer for longer stays. The location of the hotel a short distance from Roundstone was ideal for guaranteed peace and quiet. We found our three night stay was just enough to cover the area, including Clifden, the Sky Road, Kylemore Abbey & Gardens, Kilary Fjiord/Cruise.
Because of Covid restrictions we opted to eat in the Hotel each evening. The food was excellent.

A pleasant and pretty village, although rather over packed by visitors, of which we of course were a part!
The pottery shop at the far end of the village has some lovely products, and the potter a most delightful, friendly and pleasant man.

Roundstone is a nice size of a town with a small harbour, a few shops, restaurants and pubs. Nice beaches close by, in walking distance and a good pottery store at the old monastery. It is quiet a reserved location to visit and the people are very friendly.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was spotless , bedrooms were bright and I couldn’t fault them. The bed was so comfortable which is very important to me.
Jemma and Joe and their young family were very welcoming to us and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.
Both dinner and breakfast were very good. The hotel has perhaps seen its best days but has a lot of charm precisely because it has been lived in for a long time. In the evening there were several real fireplaces adding to the ambience. The location is beatiful and the views splendid when the weather allows for it.
Very modern and clean. Very comfortable and spacious living area.great location in the heart of the village. Owner was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend roundstone harbour lights
Staff were very friendly, set in a beautiful part of the country. I felt hotel was over priced for such a dated property. Our bed was rock hard. Very uncomfortable mattress
The breakfast was good value , and if anything, too much choice.
Once Richard had shown us the quick way to walk into Roundstone ,it was a perfect location.
