Breakfast was great - it tops anything you get elsewhere and lots of options for small children. Our room was really comfy - only drawback was the telly didn't work. the signal was bad (my son thought it was Minecraft). Tried to access the smart menu, but no luck, and couldn't stream from my phone either. I was wondering why they kept the TV here as it was a source of annoyance for me tbh
The kids activities are excellent - swimming pool, spa and gym facilities also first rate

It’s a very clean hotel and I had a nice spacious king room. It’s a big place, so not exuding charm, but it’s a practical stop coming down from Donegal. There are some beautiful spots around Benbulbin worth exploring. I would recommend this place because the facilities are well maintained and the bar/restaurant on site are decent. The trad music in the bar was a nice touch.
With an 18-yard swimming pool and a sumptuous spa, this Radisson BLU hotel is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Sligo. Free Wi-Fi is available, and Rosses Point Beach is a 5-minute drive away.

Really nice hotel in the middle of town. Bed was comfortable. Nice sized entry room. View out to the river was lovely. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, was nice. No complaints, would be back again

The home is located a small distance from the city center in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. The hosts were very informative and friendly. The breakfast was very good with large portions.
Amazing place. Local people are so nice, very helpful.

I recommend to go to Knocknarea and Queen Maeve Trail, beautiful views and very peaceful place.
Public transport works well if you want to go to Sligo city. But, for many attractions around Strandhill area would be better go with a car.
The best ice cream I have ever tried in Ireland, Mammy Johnston's. Please don't miss that opportunity.
The burger shack is amazing as well!

Strandhill is a nice small town with a very good surf spot.
Strandhill is a nice small town with a very good surf spot. But. Surf schools here work with beginners groups only. If you want to take an intermediate lesson or just rent a surfboard, you will be disappointed. Schools here can't provide it (at least now, in 2020). You can always come with your own surf board, but be careful and talk to local surfers about currents here, they are pretty strong.
This is a beautiful place for long walks! Along the beach and to the hills. Take at least two days to walk around. You can find some unique natural and historical heritage here.
