Very old fashioned property for the price. Very basic rooms. Some of the staff were quite rude, we went into the bar for a drink and staff kept moving us and ended up in the lobby which we thought was strange it was like they wanted us to leave. Banging on doors at check out to get people out of the rooms was a bit much we felt, I understand staff need to get room ready but it was a bit overboard.

Fitzgerald's was such a lovely, comfortable, homely experience. Lisa's hospitality well exceeded our expectations.

The apartment is perfect, lovely cosy bedrooms with comfy beds, brand new modern kitchen and bathroom, everywhere is spotless. The apartment is as well equipped as my own home, there is nothing missing. It’s warm and peaceful with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It’s quite remote, but still only a ten min drive from Listowel so it’s very convenient.

Family run hotel. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast which is so rare to find in hotels nowadays. The friendliest staff I have encountered for years. We also had dinner one evening. Excellent simple menu and very reasonably priced.
Hotel was lovely. Large, multiple lobbies to sit in. Room a good size. Area of Templeglantine was so pretty and well kept. Evening meal was great. Although you have to wait a while for a table if it's busy so would recommend booking.
