Boasting a spa bath, LITTLE ROCK RETREAT Log Cabin with Hot Tub is set in Westmeath. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

A beautiful retreat cabin in peaceful surroundings. A perfect little getaway. The cabin itself is super cosy and comfortable. The 10/10 for us was the hot tub to the side of the cabin. It is a lovely sheltered area with beautiful lighting at night, a wonderful way to relax and unwind from the stresses of life. We can't recommend enough and hope to return again soon

Located in Westmeath and only 11 km from Dun na Si Heritage & Genealogical Centre, Templemacateer provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Very friendly welcome, tea and homemade cake by a real fire on arrival. Bernie gave us lots of interesting historical info about the house and grounds. After a great breakfast, Declan took us to see the hens, ponies and pigs (and 9 VERY cute piglets). Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely return.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium.

I found the bar staff were not very pleasant, chatting to each other while I waited to get served 🙃

Perfect place to stay upon your arrival to Dublin or on your way out to the airport the following day. Just under an hour from the international airport, so you can ease your way into driving on the "wrong side" of the road and eliminate tackling the adjustment in the middle of the city (save that for later in your trip, my advice) So just heading west for a bit and then off the motorway for just a few minutes and you are here at this gorgeous property. The owners could not be nicer nor more accomodating. Very comfortable rooms, lovely sitting room with a cozy fire going, tea cake served in the afternoon and the *best* Irish breakfast going in ten counties, I swear! I just love the Templemacateer House. Farm animals are the bonus feature, too.
