11 miles from Mullingar Arts Centre in Westmeath, LITTLE ROCK RETREAT Log Cabin with Hot Tub offers accommodations with access to a hot tub.

Waaaoohh Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived at Little Rock Retreat. Really Beautiful craftsmanship. We received a lovely welcome card and treats, very clean and spacious, the decor is absolutely beautiful and every detail thoughtfully chosen, very comfortable seats and beds, the hot tub was ready to go for us, beautiful towels & robes provided. We definitely would return. It truly is a home away from home.

We LOVED the location! Such a beautiful and quiet farmhouse - with cute pigs! Declan & Bernie (homeowners) were so kind :). Enjoyed tea and cakes by the fire in the sitting room.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium.

The location is central. The room was much larger than expected, and the food at all the dining areas was consistently great. The hotel got lots of history and lots of area to explore.

Perfect place to stay upon your arrival to Dublin or on your way out to the airport the following day. Just under an hour from the international airport, so you can ease your way into driving on the "wrong side" of the road and eliminate tackling the adjustment in the middle of the city (save that for later in your trip, my advice) So just heading west for a bit and then off the motorway for just a few minutes and you are here at this gorgeous property. The owners could not be nicer nor more accomodating. Very comfortable rooms, lovely sitting room with a cozy fire going, tea cake served in the afternoon and the *best* Irish breakfast going in ten counties, I swear! I just love the Templemacateer House. Farm animals are the bonus feature, too.
