Avi at the front desk was amazingly accommodating and helpful and professional.
Built into Acre's city walls, the Akkotel-Boutique Hotel is just 165 ft from the seafront. It features a roof terrace with Mediterranean-Sea and Old-City views, and rooms with vaulted ceilings.

This was a great hotel, but it had one problem (beyond its control): it was incredibly loud all night long. The staff was friendly, the location was wonderful, my room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a mini-fridge and bath tub, and it was nicely appointed and clean. But for two nights, I slept for only three hours due to outside noise.

It was a very charming apt. Location was a close walk to all the major tourist sites. Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. Communication with the host was very good.

The apartment was very generous in size and rhe view was so breathtakingly incredible! Roi was an amazing and responsive host. He answered questions quickly and even helped arrange a last minute taxi ride when we needed it. We didn't want to leave!

great location: close to everything, couple of minutes walk to sea, a minute away from the market, a small everyday store with friendly staff just a few meters away. The bathroom is large and comfortable, there were several bottles of liquid soap (although untagged). The host is very friendly and helpful, with great sense of humor )
A fascinating blend of cultures. This ancient city has incredible architecture going back centuries, beaches, amazing markets along with a huge number of things to see and do.
It is expensive - we could not afford the top end restaurants and most of the exhibits charge entry.
Drive out of the city for even more....
This was my favourite stop in Israel and I would have liked to stay a week.

Lovely place well worth a visit.
Lovely place well worth a visit. Friendly people, stunning old town and many good restaurants. Bustling tiny souk and impressive templar landmarks. Biggest positive impression was the nice inhabitants.

1 night 2 days was perfect. Had a great wander. Did the Templar Tunnels, found the best hummus in the world. Did a cooking lesson with a local. Akko is just the most lovely old city. Full of art and food and magnificent views. Hard to believe how ancient it is. It is so well kept. The locals have much pride. It is so clean. It was such a highlight.

Acco or Acre in English is a very old town dating from Canaanite times. It became the second capital of the Crusader kingdom (after Jerusalem) and was heavily fortified. after the crusader defeat by the Mamlukes it was partly destroyed, but was revived by the Ottomans, expanded and further fortified. It resisted Napoleon's siege and was no conquered. Dotted with historic sites, you become transported into Medieval times. Serious conservation efforts are apparent but hampered by budgetary constraints. Museums and Acre prison are well worth a visit. excellent seafood and Palestininan cuisine options.

The citadel is not to be missed.
The citadel is not to be missed. Excellent restaurants (fish is essential). I was surprised such a touristic site, UNESCO Cultural Heritage, was anyway not clean as it should.
The really too loud music on the horse carriage is unbearable.

Akko is an authentic old city mainly with arabic residents and culture, what adds a special feeling and atmosphere to it. Main positive thing is that people really live in old city, its is not a museum jet.

The Taj Akko easily accessible in the old city and a short walk from everything. Our room in the old stone hotel was nicely decorated with old tiles on the floor, a large comfortable bed, colorful pillows on a bench and stone walls and ceiling. The owners left fresh fruit, coffee and chocolate for us as well as bottles of cold water in the refrigerator.
The hotel is a short walk from the free public parking area. We couldn't find a spot, so we parked a bit farther away. The owner paid our parking.
We would certainly stay there again.
We absolutely loved Arabesque House! every single element is thought out to perfection; the eye for detail on every aspect is impeccable! the facilities are comfortable, good quality bed / bedding, perfectly clean bathroom and lovely facilities all around; and then after a good night sleep you’ll be surprised by a beautiful and delicious breakfast table that will set you up to explore the beautiful Ako! please don’t forget to go upstairs and check out the terrace that offers magnificent city views!
The place is perfect itself (old house and you can find a free place for car nearby) but the best is the owner who can help you in every way you need. Also he is interesting person to talk about city and politic situation in Israel. Also he did a nice tour for us showing secret places of Acra old town next day morning.
The hotel is in a superb location and the staff were very helpful about the parking arrangements. The room was very comfortable with excellent air-conditioning. The breakfast was adequate, if a little limited in variety. On the other hand, how much can anyone eat anyway?
