It was a good value for money, the place has everything you need. Great coffee machine. Public transportation to Ein Bokek is quite convenient. But the hosts Beatrice and David just stole my heart! Very special kind of people, pleasant and caring, always offering help and spoiling me with a Shabat dinner (I was a solo traveler without a car) or even taking me on a tour around Neve Zohar with stories about the Dead Sea and surroundings. Will definitely stay with them again in the future.

This all-inclusive deluxe hotel is set a private beach in the hotel area of Ein Bokek.

The hotel's maintenance is in very poor condition, with peeling walls, broken furniture, dirt accumulating in certain places, public places like showers with a bad smell, there are long lines for food, especially for coffee, and the food is of a low to average standard.

Treat yourselves to a moment of unique beauty and tranquility where the stunning desert landscape meets the Dead Sea’s turquoise hue.

Rating: 8/10 Positives: • Location: 10/10 — right next to the beach. • Beach access: Beach chairs included. • Room: Spacious and nice, with an amazing view. • Bed: Huge, tall king-size bed — very comfortable. • Room service: Excellent. • Breakfast: Good (8/10). • Dinner: Amazing (10/10). • We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dinner! Negatives: • The hotel itself is old, and the lifts are outdated, showing heavy use. • The beach towels are small — you’ll need two to cover a beach chair.

Room was fine and it was clean, but, needed a major face-lift..One tiny single blanket was provided for two if us. Ants were crawling in the bed. Tv wasn't working, electricity cut off of at 7.30 in the morning, which forced us to get up due the the extreme heat as aircon did not work There were coffee and tea satches but no cups ans spoons

A good, quiet place suitable for a short vacation.

A good, quiet place suitable for a short vacation. Overall a good experience for the value. A few glitches in the spa - mainly in the support service. So, for example, it is written in the guest information that the spa is open from 7:30, but the receptionist at the spa at 8:00 refused to register us for treatment, the phone to the spa was not answered, but the other things made up for it. The reception staff and the dining room staff are attentive and helpful. The significant advantage - beach - is well maintained

It is a modest accommodation on the south part of Dead Sea.

It is a modest accommodation on the south part of Dead Sea. It has outside area good for breakfast, for barbeque. One room has kitchen and double bed, the other room has multiple beds. The hostes Nadia was very friendly and helpful. When we came after the long drive, she met us with dish full of cold melon and watermelon, in the refrigigirator was little cartoon of milk and 2 bottles of water, on the table was pakage with cookies. We did not use it, but kitched was equiped with useful stuff like solt, olive oil and such. There is no food shoping close by, so the closest eating place must be in Ein Bokek.

This area is of incredible beauty and even after 35 years of visiting the places I admire this special location, especially to recommend is a hike to Nahal David, tours in the desert and don't forget : Masada ! The biggest negative part, for Europeans especially : you might be shocked by the behavior in the hotels of some Israeli's but mostly of their cousins. They destroy the breakfast buffet in a blink of an eye, come with plastic bags and boxes (even cool boxes!! ) and take out food as much as possible to take home. Sometimes they pick nick in the lobby and hotel managements are desperate and do not have any solution how to stop this behavior. Its getting worse year by year !!!

Convenient to get around Neve Zohar, yet also convenient to the main Beach by the Dead Sea Mall and other shops. We ate mostly in our room but on the last night went to the Leonardo Hotel for a meat buffet which was excellent!

The hotel has everything one needs.

The hotel has everything one needs. No need to get in the car and go anywhere. The private beach, the outdoor swimming pool and the heated indoor pool with water from the Dead Sea. The food was excellent with a great variety. The dining room staff very helpful and efficient. Highly recommend staying at Herod's Dead Sea - good value for your money and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.

We have some dietary needs and rather than staying at a fancy hotel we appreciated a stovetop and the kitchen to satisfy those needs. We appreciated that there was a little candy in the room, complementary bottled water and he asked if we'd like a complementary bottle of wine. He was generous that way. There was a private patio with nice places to sit. A beautiful beach was a short drive away.

It took us a while to look around. We got a beautiful room with a balcony and a sea view. Overall, I rate the stay in this hotel very positively. The only things they could change are the opening times of the pool and spa, including transport to and from the beach. I think they closed too early.

The location was good. Further away from the busy hotels, yet a very short drive to some nice beaches and other attractions. The apartment was clean and spacious. The host was very helpful and responsive.
