Being away from City centre problem for shopping n restaurant choices. But being at peaceful place with most friendly owner Mr. Jarvis, his wife Mrs. Rini as a chef and helping hand of Ms. Elsi. Felt like home away from home. Wonderful kitchen deck, to watch beauty of Aizawl at sunrise and shining starry city at night, it's an exciting scene. Mr. Jarvis also help in getting car transport by Mr.Oy-a for sightseeing. Both Mr. Jarvis n Mr.Oy-a were educated in Pune and both retired from military service, so were very punctual, helpful and sort of obedient and caring. God bless all of them and help them in progression of their career and life.

Hotel Dinthar Zara features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Āīzawl. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, room service and luggage storage for guests.

Peaceful and Located away from the noisy central part of town. The center can be reached in a couple of min as taxis available in plenty just outside the guesthouse. The host Mr.Vanulal was great in terms of providing information and personally monitors operations. The guest house doesn't have a restaurant but a cook helps in serving food on order. No good restaurants nearby which was a small drawback, else, a fantastic place for a good stay. Safe for families as well. Rooms were pretty large with comfy beds. I personally thank Mr. Vanulal for all the help during my stay.

Situated in Āīzawl in the Mizoram region, Dormitories/Hosteller, Giftland Homestay has a balcony and city views. Featuring mountain and garden views, this campground also comes with free WiFi.

It's a beautiful stay to be honest. The honour of the homestay is such a welcoming lady. She will make you feel at home the moment you step onto the property. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life. When in Mizoram, you should consider staying at this property.

This was my third visit to Aizawl.

This was my third visit to Aizawl. Small, cosy, intimate hilly place that you can wander around just walking. Great local food, with lots of meat and green vegetables. Attractive handicrafts, shawls and hand bags with balanced mix of colors. Cafes abound, offering pastries and momo. Only taxis may little rip you off.

There are few places of interest near Aizawl like falkwan, hmuifang, sialsuk that we enjoyed. There was lot of work going on on Aizawl - Champhai road. So suggest to avoid visiting champhai for a year or so till the time the road is ready. Thereafter it is going to be a good wide road through hills that can be enjoyed by travellers. Murlen National park is not for unfit senior citizens as it involved trekking.

We liked that we could get continental cuisine at the restaurants. It's a very hilly city, so we didn't walk much. But you can get cabs everywhere at reasonable rates. The markets were bustling despite the ongoing pandemic. We were able to do some shopping. Unfortunately, the mall was only partially open. Once the pandemic is over, we will visit again. The climate is very moderate, not too hot and not too cold. We visited in February 2022.
