    Ayodhya isn't a very developed tourist place as of yet.

    Ayodhya isn't a very developed tourist place as of yet. But it is going to be soon (may be 2-3 years). That's mostly because of all the development that has happened only in the last 1-2 years, and the city isn't very well equipped right now to handle the kind of numbers of pilgrims it is getting everyday. The biggest problem I found was lack of good restaurants and means of comfortable public transport. So, be ready to walk a few KMs while visiting Ayodhya as a pilgrim or a tourist. The biggest attraction is of course the newly consecrated Ram janmabhoomi temple, which is breathtaking, very well managed etc. Around it there are dozens of temples, particularly Hanumangadhi. While in town, you should also visit Saryu ghat and Guptar ghat.

    The area was a village. more Roads, Hotels, Shops and transportation need to be improved. The Government is taking initiative to improve the infrastructural facilities which is definitely a positive approach. Ayodhya Rail Station is excellent and there are nice faciliities for the travelers.

    Ayodhya is worth visiting for Hindus from any corner of the world. We travelled to Ayodhya from Delhi in Vande Bharat train, One can cover Nageshwarnath Temple, Kanak Bhawan, Saryu Arti, Hanuman Garhi and Lata Chowk on the first day. On second day early morning, Divya Darshan of Shri Ram Lala at the Recently built Ram Janambhumi temple followed by Guptar ghat where Lord Ram took Jal Samadhi and left the planet for Vakunth. Then visit to Ram Ki Pedi, good place to spend evening and it also has Light and Sound show in the evening. I think minimum 2-3 days are sufficient for trip to Ayodhya.

    I just went for the Ram Lalla temple.

    I just went for the Ram Lalla temple. Good to see it being built but the hassle of all the check points with passports was a bit excessive. And you only get a few seconds in front of the bit if the temple that is open.

    WE WERE LATE TO REACH THERE.

    WE WERE LATE TO REACH THERE. EARLY MORNING WE WENT FOR DARSHAN. DUE TO HEAVY RUSH OF MAHAKUMBH. EVERYTHING WAS COSTLY. BUT IN NORMAL DAYS I THINK IT WOULD BE ALRIGHT. I THINK 2 DAYS ARE SUFFICIENT FOR SHRI RAM MANDIR DARSHAN AND SHRI HANUMAN GARHI DARSHAN, SARYU SHANAN. TRY TO TRAVEL FROM ANOTHER CITY IN TRAINS ONLY. WE COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING ELSE DUE TO SHORTAGE OF TIME. EATING OPTIONS ARE LIMITED NEAR MANDIR. E-RICKSHAWS ARE AVAILABLE IN AND ARROUND AYODHYA.

    The city is coming into limelight recently with the...

    The city is coming into limelight recently with the construction of shri ram mandir. The place has spiritual meaning to all the Hindus, so it might be difficult to see the place logically. However, keeping that aside, the place has a poor infrastructure and the roads are in bad shape. You will have to use e-rickshaws mostly. The place to visit is ram ki paudi, shrei ram mandir, and attend aarti in new ghat
