This hotel looks much nicer in photos than it does in reality. It’s located a bit far from everything, and the facilities are quite basic. The rooms are spacious, which is a plus, but the amenities and overall installations feel very simple. The staff are extremely friendly and do their best to help, which we really appreciated. However, when comparing the price we paid to the quality of the experience, it just doesn’t add up. There’s definitely room for improvement.

This hotel is run by people who are extremely kind and helpful. They are also knowledgeable about birds. I was traveling alone and they allowed me to join a group of photographers going for a boat trip on the Chambal River. It was economical and fun, and would have been much less so had I tried to do this on own. Excellent food too!

The food was prepared by the owner and was great. He followed up our request of preparing the dishes without spices. The atmosphere, soft bed and clean bathroom gave us time to relax. Good place to stay for 1 or 2 nights to see the bird park nearby.
