Preferred this place over Baga, Anjuna and Palolem. It is RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Easy access from Candolim main road by Bike or Car (including SUV). 5 mins through the winding lanes and you reach this well-maintained, cute, small, no-frills cottage space...which charges very little, but puts you right in the middle of Candolim beach, away from the loud Calangute-Baga and the main Candolim tourist beach. If I could get a non-expensive, beach cottage with access to a clean, empty beach, visited mostly by foreigners with their families, from where I can reach the hotspots in Anjuna in 30mins max and Chapora Main Road in 40mins max... I need not travel 40-50kms down south to Palolem. Only thing I missed was the sea kayaking, which is not possible in north goa beaches...they do river kayaks mostly. The property has 1 caretaker Pramodh for 5 (same-sized) cottages. He is a sweet guy who can help with bike rental contacts as well. Owner is also a nice helpful guy.

    The room was spacious. There was enough storage space as well. And I think they had a reasonable number of electrical plug points to plug in gadgets.

    Busy main street full of noisy traffic. Great beach with plenty of beach bars with their own free sunbeds. Food was always good. Not much entertainment on a night although there were many bars with singers singing to backing music. Superb sunsets each evening.

    What can you say about Goa - you love it or you hate it - we love it. The people the places so varied and vibrant - huge choice of places to eat and drink all at really good prices for top quality food. Our top three places to eat Mermaid Restaurant, Tuscany Gardens and Alexandra Restaurant - all brilliant with good food and service.

    Candolim, a bit quieter than Calangute, beach more spacious, Tons of very good restaurants, never had a bad meal, Lots of TUK TUKs these guys will get you from A-B very quickly and cheaply. Safe, we are 2 mature ladies my daughter and I, I have been going to Goa for over 23 years and never felt afraid of walking to my accommodation @ 10-11 at night.local shop keepers keep open till late at night, They actually get to know you they sit outside, a "Good morning" or " hello mam" every morning and night. They don't want trouble of any kind they rely on tourists for their livelihood.

    Clean beach with white sand at Candolim, nearby Anjuna beach is unclean. Decent experience of water sports, but Goan tourism seems to have gotten into the money making tourism with high tourist purchase costs everywhere. Mineral water bottle for ₹50 in beach restos. But had a great dining experience at Fat Fish resto n bar that's on way to Anjuna beach. Don't give it a miss.

    Candolim beach is a great way to relax, but waves are very strong an swimming in the sea is not encouraged. Restaurants are plentiful with every type of food you could think of and excellent value for money. The Harmony Bistro is one of the best. Lots of excellent jewellers. Extremely busy and noisy mail road, better to stay away the main road, there are plenty of options, hotels, apartments, guest houses.

    The vibe in Candolim is realy nice.

    The vibe in Candolim is realy nice. Baga beach, Anjuna are not far from here. They have nigh clubs, best beaches in Goa and great food options. Although Baga and Anjuna would be the best places to stay, Candolim is 15-20 mins away from Baga beach and probably 30 mins from Anjuna

    Everything was clean and as shown in photographs. Staff were attentive, and the hotel offered a lot of affordable luxury. I had read low-score reviews online, and saw that these were linked to room size and room atmosphere; to my knowledge I had one of the cheapest rooms in the hotel, and it still had a spacious and luxurious feel to it. It may be small for Goa, I don't know, but compared to the UK, it was larger, and with a veranda/balcony area!

Would appreciate the courtesy and politeness of a few people like Rinisha and Babita at front desk, Tapan at Pool, all the staff of the restaurant and housekeeping and The Chef. Would love to stay @ Golden Tulip Candolim, Goa again.

    My stay at Bumblebee in Candolim, Goa, was really nice. The bedrooms were big and stylish, and the living room was cozy. The place was super clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Bumblebee is a great choice for a comfy and well-managed getaway in Goa. I highly recommend it if you want a nice place in Candolim.
