As I write this review, the want to go back and stay at Kathkuni is becoming difficult to harness. From the serenity of the cheog valley to the fragrance of the wilderness, everything is a 10 on 10. A must do stay-cation which surely will rejuvenate you beyond.

The location of Jomotel Talai is simply stunning. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Himalayas, the hotel offers breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. Accessibility from road is good, however for first time, directions can be sought from the hotel staff.
The rooms are cozy, well-maintained, and provide all the modern amenities one could need, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
What truly sets Jomotel Talai apart, however, is its outstanding staff. I would like to extend a special thank you to Rohit and Bhupinder, who went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Their dedication, friendliness, and attention to detail were remarkable.
Adequate arrangement for hot water and heater is available. The rooms have all facilities like kettle, iron, toileteries .The food served at the hotel is also very delicious. Despite the small size of staff the service is very quick which is remarkable.
Overall, my stay at Jomotel Talai was an absolute delight. The combination of the stunning location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional staff, particularly Rohit and Bhupinder, made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.

There were few positives as well such as the food, the view from the balcony and that the owner was trying to take care of her guests despite no support from others.
I would recommend that if you want to go and stay in a property which offers all this then go ahead. Otherwise if you're someone who wants a place from where commuting is easy then this is not the place.
One piece of advice for the hotel owner would be to hire a small car for getting the guests from the top if you're charging 5000 for a room.
