We stayed in the Hotel Sonar Bangla and its facilities were good, the staff members were helpful and courteous, the view from our room and the food were excellent. The wi-fi service was, however, very weak inside the room and our decision to carry with us our own portable wi-fi unit from Airtel proved wise. The boat ride on the Ichamati should be a "must" for all visiting Taki-Hasnabad. From our discussions with the hotel staff, we understood that a visit to Taki to watch the immersion ceremony after the Durga Puja would be an experience worth the trouble!Guest review byAmitabhaUnited States - Review score
The scenic beauty of the riverside was just amazing...
The scenic beauty of the riverside was just amazing specially during the sunrise and sunset. The restaurant food was very tasty and quite reasonable. Rooms are cosy but a bit unmaintained.
