It is an old city and has a market.
It is an old city and has a market. If anyone plans for dudhsagar waterfalls, they can make a stay here. Beaches are for just relaxation with minimum options of party and water sports. Sure, we have options for cheap & best food and also we can try local goan food. Two or three days wills be more enough to experience the place if you are a kinda person to enjoy the local culture and food. Just as Dabolim (airport) is the starting point for air-travellers, Thivim (for North Goa), Madgaon (for Central and South Goa) and Vasco (North Goa again) are the gateways for train-travellers. Madgaon city is basically unfriendly and hostile to tourists especially when it comes to people from Mumbai. NO OLA or UBER....Taxis and private cars are looters, they just don't have conscience fleecing each and every strangers, tourists. Railway administration is also the same. It's all in their mindsets, impossible to change. Always misguiding tourists if ask for any particular location My personal advice....Goa is overhyped Wanna enjoy beaches...I bet Kerala is much more beautiful and a perfect place for family.Guest review byMUNEEF SHAIKHIndia
