We loved the property, the grounds and the swimming pool. This was a secluded luxurious property - if you like bird watching you will see so many different breeds all on your door step! We loved the hospitality, Bino was an amazing host sharing stories with us and always checking how we were.
Huge shout out to Jyothis our amazing nature tour guide - we would highly recommend the walking tour she taught us so much about the surrounding nature and animals! We would also highly recommend the cycling to the river and suspension bridge for sunset and Danesh our bird guide for the early morning tour was so passionate and made the experience really special for us!

The most fantastic thing is the location, the back overlooks a part of a small river with rocks where wild elephants come to drink. It is a beautiful view but more beautiful if you go into the water, especially a little upstream from where people bathe or wash clothes. The water is clear, clean and a beautiful swim. There are many hiking and trekking opportunities near by but they recommend going with a guide in case you run into wild elephants. My partner and I just took it as an opportunity to rest and retreat, we went swimming in the river and also the swimming pool. The staff are super nice and cooperative. We didn't see elephants but we found elephant droppings at many points along the river. It wasn't gross, it made us feel happy that the elephants were near by. The room is also beautifully made, with wooden ceilings, wall murals, and a separate living/ dining area. Also we travelled with our cats, and the resort staff was completely welcoming for that.
