Access roads are poorly maintained, or not maintained at all. Despite so many hotels and presumably tourists visiting. Additionally the whole place stinks of fish being dried..... at places terribly. The beach offers a serene and less crowded atmosphere, making it a peaceful destination. I recommend visiting during a full moon for a more enchanting experience. Mandarmoni sea beach is very quiet and clean as well. Unlike Digha, which is very crowded and dirty beaches but Mandarmoni is excellent. However, it should be developed as a tourist destination with good roads, lighting, quality food, Shower facility at the beach at various locations.
