Location is good and staff behaviour is excellent but when come to canteen facility,it is not adjustable.
Food is often brought from outside and this lead to some time delay.
If canteen facility is provided at the hotel itself,it would have been good.

Adventure park , glass bridge and garden all are good to spend a day here. It would be better if u visit during dec-Jan period when you can experience some cool climate. Please avoid this places during christmas and onam holidays , as is tend to be crowded and u wouldnt be able to enjoy. Days will be hot, you can experience cold during nite and mornings. Most of the places close by 5:30 , except for the garden, which is well lit and have lot of foto spots

If you’re looking to escape the crowded tourist spots in...
If you’re looking to escape the crowded tourist spots in India and experience something truly peaceful, Vagamon is the place to be. As an American traveler, I was blown away by the beauty and calm of this hill station. Nestled in the Western Ghats, Vagamon offers scenic landscapes that feel untouched and authentic – rolling hills, tea plantations, lush greenery, and mist-covered mountains. It’s incredibly tranquil, almost like a hidden paradise.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the tea plantations. Walking through the emerald-green rows with the mountains in the background felt like stepping into a painting. I also loved the viewpoints; each bend in the road led to another stunning vista, perfect for photos or just soaking in the natural beauty. The fresh mountain air and cool climate were a welcome break from the heat of the cities.
I stayed at a resort in Vagamon and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and warmth of the people here. They made every effort to make my stay comfortable, with delicious South Indian meals and a wealth of local tips for exploring the area. You won’t find the luxury of a big city here, but that’s part of Vagamon’s charm. The simpler, more rustic accommodations allowed me to disconnect and enjoy the serenity fully.
If you’re an adventure lover, Vagamon also has a few thrills. I tried paragliding, and the experience of soaring over the valleys and tea gardens was something I’ll never forget. It’s well-organized and safe, even for a first-timer.
I’d highly recommend Vagamon for travelers who want to go off the beaten path and enjoy the peaceful side of India. It’s a place to unwind, connect with nature, and experience a less commercialized side of Kerala. Definitely a unique gem worth visiting!

The favourite place I've visited in Vagamon is the Mottakunnu which is situated near Vagamon meadows.
I stayed in Vagamon Clouds, an Apartment stay which was situated near Vagamon town. I ate from both vacation towns and restaurants on the way to vagamon.
The climate is a little bit cold. It's better to keep a jacket with you.
Better, order food from your stay itself if they provide you. Restaurants are very costly and the food is pathetic.

Nice nature location. Off-roading often required.
Nice nature location. Off-roading often required. Would rate it somewhat below Munnar as a vacation outing. Good accommodation and restaurants are hard to come by. A somewhat small hill-town, with limited outing areas as compared to Munnar. Just my personal opinion. A 2-3 stay seems more than enough for Vagamon, especially if weather stays fine.

Hospitality, service of the staff was excellent. Very friendly people! And about breakfast and dinner: the best we have had in Kerala. The homestay is very pleasent, nice views from balcony and also a nice pool. Very peaceful. Furthermore, around the home stay you can have a great hike through plantages. Also Vagamon is near , easy reachamable with a tuktuk. Nice walks and sceneries down there aswell!
