The staff were friendly and although there was no kitchen on site were willing to arrange South Indian breakfasts (at an extra charge), although I didn't take them up on the offer. The room was super-basic but the photos were realistic and didn't over-promise, so I knew what to expect and the bathroom was large and clean.

It was only a short walk to the beach and there was a very good choice of restaurants. Bijou was the perfect host always on hand to help with any requests we had regarding the room or arranging a tuk tuk. He even provided us with a sturdy umbrella when the rains came down.
