The location is perfect as it’s very close to the sightseeing spots. The staff is very friendly and attentive. However, the room and furnishings are getting tired, it could have been better with this price range. Refinement on the soft touches would make it more enjoyable.

This little cottage is amazing! In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare some delicious meals. The bathroom is modern, the bed is comfortable and everything is very clean!
The only thing that is a little bit scary when hearing it for the first time is the water boiler that makes some noise when pumping the water. But this is absolutely no problem.
The view on the Eyjafjallajökull is stunning!

I got the key from a keybox with ease. The room look a bit smaller than in the photo, but its really clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with a big fridge. The view outside is great and can be enjoyed through the front floor to ceiling glass.
We used our own bath towels. The directions for filling hot tub with fresh hot water were easy to follow. Buy food in town on the way as grocery store is about 45 min away. We rode at the stable next door farm 2 days. The cottage was a great home base for sightseeing and also has a beautiful hike along the canyon in back.
