The location was ideal, close to Skógafoss Waterfall and a reasonable distance to Vik. It was peaceful and quiet. Our room was in the apartments. They were so clean and the bed was VERY comfortable! There were many choices at breakfast.

The room was comfortable. The location is good for a drive along the southern coast. We liked our room's access to the spa tub. The location was excellent for the amazing northern lights we saw.
Once we found the correct location, the phone mentioned in the instructions was easy to find and the host gave me the numbers needed to access the room.
The common room has lots of comfortable seating and several games.
Several reviews have mentioned breakfast: Breakfast was fine (if you are from the US, this was on par with a mid-level hotel breakfast) but not as good as what we experienced at the other inns we visited during our stay.

Excellent hosts, nice, tidy room with comfy bed, tasty afternoon snack & breakfast, super quiet location, and very low light pollution. There is nothing else really around, so come with food or plan to eat in the dining hall. I would stay again.

I adored this spot. It is nestled between cliffs with little streams and waterfalls behind and a lagoon in front. A short steep hike will take you to see the birds nesting or the beach. The dogs will come with you for company. When we arrived Anna had a cake she’d made out for snacks.

We loved the location because it was so close to all the waterfalls. The picture window was perfect to view the northern lights. It provided a small but great kitchen which we cooked our meals.
We used our own bath towels. The directions for filling hot tub with fresh hot water were easy to follow. Buy food in town on the way as grocery store is about 45 min away. We rode at the stable next door farm 2 days. The cottage was a great home base for sightseeing and also has a beautiful hike along the canyon in back.
