Shower is great. Linens and blankets were cozy and soft. I loved waking up to the view of the harbour every morning. Close to the Blue Lagoon.

United StatesWe spent most of our time in Reykjavik, but decided to stay in Keflavik overnight to be close to the airport for our 6a flight instead of having to figure out a bus or taxi ride from Reykjavik. Hotel Duus is about a 10min ride to the airport via taxi at 4a, so worked out perfectly. Restaurant within the hotel was a nice bonus! Was a little pricey, but it was delicious.

Very close to airport which is nice. Offered a lot of helpful info re local eateries, grocery stores, etc.
Room was comfortable.
Staff responded promptly to inquiries.
FYI: It's self-check in & that info is provided the day before you arrive (seems to be more and more the case these days).

Not a lot here but there’s a pretty church here Tip: don’t buy supplies in the airport shop - we stocked up & it cost us a fortune. Grindavik is a small, beautiful fishing village close to the Geldingadalur volcano (but not too close) and the Blue Lagoon. It has many excellent hiking opportunities and great restaurants. Grindavik is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape. We stopped for one night during our Iceland tour to visit the Blue Lagoon and Fagradalsfjall, the volcano that erupted in 2021 and is still smoldering several months later. Grindavik is a working fishing village with a few local restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy, so is a really good spot to stay for a day when touring Iceland. Grindavik is a lovely town with a huge fisherman history. It's super close to the Blue lagoon and volcano so, there are many options for hiking or relaxing. There's a grill place with a super nice man who told me a little about the history and life of Grindavik's people and he also sells awesome hotdogs.
