Breakfast was included with our room and was a good spread and filling for the day of hiking. The location was perfect for what we had planned. We also ate dinner at the Rock and Troll Restaurant both nights we stayed there. The food and the service were very good.
As someone who is very familiar with music from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, the music being played during breakfast and dinner was excellent.
I would recommend Fossatun Country Hotel for anyone who wants to see and hike Iceland’s beautiful countryside.

Newly renovated, nice location. Simple and sufficient, rooms pretty small. Breakfast and dinner were simple, nothing spectacular. Staff very friendly! Easy check-in, love the door codes. Pretty views, very quiet!
