The unobstructed view of the ocean was a treat. This would be even better in the summer with the windows open to hear the sounds as well.
We had dinner and the included breakfast there. Between the four of us, we tried the lamb in all its forms—grilled, soup, meatballs, sausage, pâté, and smoked. We each had a favorite but they were all delicious.
They have a room with racks designated for drying. Unfortunately it wasn’t especially heated so the stuff didn’t really dry, but it kept us from draping our wet stuff all over the room.

The host was so kind and wonderful! He made us breakfast and told us stories about Iceland and his family. We were part of his family for a brief moment and got to experience the wonderful life he lived and food he and his wife make! Highly recommend staying here 🩷

The host was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in one of the private rooms which are located on the second floor. It had 3 beds. These are perfect for traveling families . Plenty of towels and wash clothes provided. They even provided tea, coffee machine, juice , yogurt and pastry . The kitchen has everything you would need. The facilities were very clean. The best part is how close to the activities in the area it is. About 10 min from the glacier lagoon and diamond beach. We would recommend to stay here if you are doing any glacial or ice cave activities.

The manager/owners were lovely and very accommodating. We loved that the kids could visit the horses and sheep. We were also pleasantly surprised to find the floors were heated!!!
We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so much
