The room was large and comfortable. Although there wasn't a bathroom in our room, there were enough bathrooms and showers that there was always one available when needed. We also appreciated the small shared kitchen available to guests.

Sólheimahjáleiga Guesthouse is a cozy and lovely country house. We asked to give us a room with a mountain view, and the very friendly host gave us a room with beautiful windows with soothing views. We also had dinner there and every course was delicious and homemade. Same with the good and plentiful breakfast. At night we saw our first Northern Lights in Iceland and this place will remain in our hearts for that. For me it is a 10.
We had a Great stay in Sólheimahjáleiga Guesthouse. The room was nice and clean. Timeless atmosphere and good position close to Reynisfjara Beach. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both very good and rich with local products (they have animals and Vegetable in the farm). The staff was friendly and helpful (the owner speaks italian perfectly 😉). The best stay in our trip! Really recommended!
We stayed at 11 different properties during our trip to Iceland and this location was among my favorites. The design of the room was thoughtful and what made this property very comfortable was a shared kitchen/lounge that was furnished with anything that would be needed to make a quick meal/snack. The hotel was very clean and the continental breakfast was good.
During our stay at Sólheimahjáleiga Guesthouse, we were satisfied with the friendly staff who spoke to us during our arrival and provided us with information.
The accommodation is ideally located for quick visits to Skogafoss & Reynisfjara Beach and is not directly on the ring road which makes it pleasant for sleeping.
