The hotel was beautiful. It was raining when we were there so we did not do much but the staff made the stay wonderful. They made sure we were having a good time under the circumstances.

Staying at Poggio Baronti B&B was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. This charming property is nestled in the Tuscan hills, offering the perfect mix of countryside tranquility and proximity to Florence. We arrived by train and got a taxi to the property.
We loved the peaceful setting and incredible views from our room—it felt like a dream. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh, delicious options every morning. We didn’t rent a car and decided to use the bus system. The bus stop was about a 15-minute walk down a somewhat busy road, but we didn’t mind the walk as we enjoy walking everywhere and found the bus system easy to use. If you don’t want to walk uphill, you would probably need to rent a car for this area. Tommasso, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, even arranging an early morning taxi for us to catch our train. We appreciated his hospitality and the convenience of getting bus tickets from Bar Mario in town. We’ll absolutely stay here again when we return to Florence!

This cottage is one we would have paid money just to tour. It was such a special experience for our family. We really felt like we had an authentic Tuscan country stay. The house itself was old but in great shape, and the stone and woodwork was so interesting for history lovers like us. Three of our children really enjoyed the triple bunk bed and our fourth child was very comfortable on the sofa bed downstairs. We did not stay long enough to need to use the kitchen but it was so neat to look around in there. The surrounding property and views were beautiful and quiet. We would definitely recommend.

The Villa and grounds were beautiful and super clean! Daily breakfast was delicious and filling! The breakfast dining room was decorated with much warmth and allowed each guest to have their own table. The outdoor seating areas were super comfortable. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions regarding the area and restaurants. The owner was personable and engaged. The bed was very comfortable.
The cappuccino was superb!! We will be back for longer next time!

The location is absolutely beautiful.
The location is absolutely beautiful. You are in the middle of Chianti region so you are surrounded by vineyards. In addition, there are fields of Olive trees, scenic drives and beautifully landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces at the resort.
The staff are amazing, helpful, friendly and ho out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Loveley property and well looked after in a wonderfully hillside location that made you feel italian, the host couldn't do enough to make you welcome. The breakfast was lovely.
To get into florence there is a bus service that runs right into the centre about 500mts away, so you can just hop onto that. There is a good bar in the village and the local pizza restaraunt serves the best pizza we had in Italy.
The staff were so accommodating and would do anything to help should you need it - fabulous service. You get the country stay but within a short distance from all of the attractions.
There is a bus you can catch (number 23) directly into the centre of Florence from Bagno a Ripoli, and the bus stop was a short 10 minute away from the villa. Not to mention the beautiful villa itself. Would recommend.
I booked this last minute and I was only there for one night, and the biggest disappointment I have with this place is that I didn't stay longer, The room felt like your own personal property in the Tuscany land of Italy. The staff were super lovely and helpful. The grounds of the venue were gorgeous and is definitely a place were you want to stay a minimum of 3 nights
You will not have a better hotel experience anywhere. The property, breakfast, service, all amazing. Only issue as with most high end Italian hotels, cocktail are very expensive and light on the alcohol. Otherwise, this is a dreamy property.
