Breakfast was fantastic--even had eggs, bacon, and fresh honeycomb. The renovated building and grounds were spectacular, luxurious, and nostalgic. I kept my window open at night and the water feature outside made for great sleeping, along with the cool night air. The staff were attentive an mostly eager to help. They apparently just opened only a year ago. I felt fortunate to be there. I would like to ahve had time to go mountain biking. Not sure if they have bikes or not. The smart TV had all of the fun apps to enjoy movies, music, etc. That helped me to just rest while it rained outside. The dinner menu had some spectacular dishes--especially the tartare. Wow.

The apartment is located in the most beautiful place, so quiet, fresh and peaceful. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Very good value for mone as well. I would recommend to stay at least 2 nights in this place of paradise.
The only thing that one might miss is WIFI it overall excellent experience

Spotless, quiet, spacious. Silvia was very helpful with information and recommendations. This was our first vacation without the kids. We stayed here as a rest point on our drive from the Dolomites to Rome. The place was perfect. We rented e-bikes in Balze and had an amazing bike ride in the surrounding hills. We ended up riding past a waterfall along the trail at Sorgente Tevere. Absolutely stunning views! We went into the town of Alfero in the evenings for supper. In a town where everyone knows everyone and strangers stick out, we felt very welcomed. As we waited at the tavern (BAR-rio), the men playing cards welcomed me to sit and watch as they played Romagnole, the local card game. After years of traveling, I've found that the connections I make with with people are much more memorable than landmarks or museums.

Beautiful farm and family. We loved our stay here and would love to come again. The room was clean and comfortable and the farm was quite and interesting. Lots of hikes around and I recommend this place for a short or long stay. The hosts are kind and beautiful people to meet. Great value, Highly recommended
