Nice sized simple room, the bed was very comfortable. The host was very helpful and eager to please. A decent Italian style breakfast. The location is walkable to town, though not ultra close. Very clean.

Locanda Dal Sor Francesco, Vetralla, is primarily a big restaurant with rooms as a side gig. We pulled into a parking space that may have been a neighbor’s property. There is really no parking near the restaurant. We asked the young man who appeared to work at this business, he replied that our parking spot was”perfect”. He provided us with key to the building and one for our room, without much information about the establishment. We selected this place in advance, to stay, after exploring the Villa Lante in Bagnaia that day. Once in our room we looked for someone to provide an extra luggage rack. A young lady obliged, but seemed to be an employee of the restaurant and not experienced with the rooms. We did not have dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was sweet- no savory-but coffee to order. I must say, the restaurant makes its own pasta, as we saw it rolled out and drying on the dining room tables the following morning! That morning we were on our way to return our rental car and head to our hotel in Rome.

Perfect spot on the francigena. One room requires crossing the communal space to reach the bathroom, but anyone who has ever been on pilgrimage before would not blink an eye. Especially at the amazing price, great location and the complimentary prosecco. It was beautifully decorated too. It is a short trip from Viterbo to Vetralla, so if walking be sure to visit the town sites before continuing 5 more km to the property.

Beautiful, characterful and personable property. Extremely private, peaceful. Higher end rustic BoBo. The kind of place for unwinding and getting away from everything, but still practical for visiting sights in Tuscia. Will be happy to come back.
