Location is great; it's easy to get to and from the airport and in and out of Pisa. Quiet spot with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Ample car parking adjacent to the hotel though outside the grounds. Felt safe enough. The room was nice enough and the bathroom facilities perfectly adequate; small shower cubicle but did the job. We had breakfast there one morning and it was very good; all self-service and very much continental style but plenty of choice. We did have a problem when the supplied hairdryer started smoking but we had brought our own. Friendly and helpful staff although they adhere quite strictly to check in times. But they were happy to take luggage in while we went off to visit Pisa.
All in all, adequate without being one to avoid or on the other hand to go out of your way for. We stayed twice; the first night we arrived in Pisa and again the night before we flew out. When we left on the morning to go to the airport it was about 7.15 and there was no one on reception to check us out so we left a note and the staff were very good in getting back to us later to take payment on the phone.
