The property is a beautifully and tastefully renovated building from a long, long time ago. Super clean, very well equipped and stocked. It has a kitchen that is wonderful! It was very easy to check in and check out! We had a code to get our key. We went to the museums nearby, Robert Capa is a jewel! The hosts thought of absolutely everything! This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it! Everyone was happy. The room was spacious, modern bathroom, beautiful kitchen and balconies overlooking Mt. Etna! Gorgeous!

Enjoyed our stay in this well furnished, comfortable and clean B&B. It is on one of the main streets in the old town but our room was very quiet. The weather was against us but has a lovely view across the valley. Guiseppe our host was very friendly and helpful - also flexible with arrival and departure times. Beautiful view from the balcony. Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom is located outside the room on the same floor, but it is not shared with other guests. On breakfast you can find some sweets/cakes and yogurs, which are free to take in the kitchen.

Troina clings to a hill, and certainly gives you a gentle workout as you wander about this beautiful town. B and B Al Borgo is right in the middle, with a newsagent, tobacconist, cafes, bars, mini super markets and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Our check in was great - technologically the owner could let us in and give us directions to our room, despite us being early, and not present This was great! The house is historic, traditionally decorated, and laid out, with lots of interesting artefacts representing the agricultural and roman heritage of the town. The furniture is antique, with beautiful spotless bed linen. As well as a room and (external, but personal to us), bathroom, there was a lounge for guests, with fantastic coffee maker etc. the balcony was great. Our host was super, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us ideas about what to see and where to go.
