Everything was superb! The luggage drop-off was convenient, the parking wasn't far, the gal at the front desk (picture in pamphlet) was delightful, the glass enclosed breakfast terrace was delicious, and the hotel location was walkable to the old town. The entrance to the hotel was attractive.
Boasting a seafront location in Chiavari, Hotel San Pietro Chiavari offers free WiFi, and a restaurant/pizzeria with bar. On-site facilities also include a terrace and TV lounge.

It was close to the water but I was supposed to have a beach view which I did not.
Just a 7-minute walk from Chiavari beach and 1.2 miles from Casa Carbone, Loft Garibaldi features accommodations in Chiavari, with a terrace.

Chiavari itself is not a tourist destination, but it is a very friendly city . It has plenty options for shopping and dining. The location is a perfect intermediate point if you are visiting Cinqueterre for one side, and Santa Margherita and Portofino on the other site. Transportation by train to those places is easy and no expensive. Personnel at the train ticket office speaks fluent English and are very helpful when planning you route.

Chiavari is a beautiful town in the Ligurian Riviera. Amazing shopping opportunities and great choices of restaurants. From Chiavari you can go everywhere to Cinque Terre, Camogli and San Fruttuoso and many other amazing locations. I love this town and I recommend it.

We stayed in Chiavari cause we didn’t find another appropriate accommodation in Cinque Terre, but I’m so glad it happened this way, because Chiavari is one beautiful small town (but not too small), charming and interesting. In my opinion it is more interesting than Cinque Terre. There are a lot of restaurants, bakeries, different shops, beautiful streets, typical italien architecture, sea side and so on. We stayed for two days there, but I will come again for sure, at least for four days or more. It is close to Portofino and Cinque Terre (in a between), has better parking options, there is also a train station and trains go very often to different destinations. Chiavari is a pretty little place right on the beach.
Chiavari is a pretty little place right on the beach. The town centre is porticoes with lots of nice little restaurants. It gets very crowded and expensive in summer, but off season its a lovely place to visit.
The cemetery up the hill is lovely and the centre of town has a nice antiques market one sunday a month. There is a bit of art deco architecture.

Chiavari is a perfect choice if you want to visit around Cinque Terre and Portofino. The prices are great compared to other cities and is very easy to get from Chiavari to visit them by train. We managed to visit everything we had on the list: Cinque Terre, Portofino, San Frutuosso, Genoa, S. Margherita etc. The beach in Chiavari is not that great if you are looking for stunning blue water, but it was easy to travel to other beaches, such as Monterosso.

We have been to Chiavari many times because it combines so many things we enjoy. The sea of course, but also a wonderful evening passagiata, as well as absolutely divine restaurants. The town is compact, with good shopping, ample (paid) parking and delightful piazzas.

The apartment was brand new, everything looked clean. The location of the flat / parking was very convenient to get in/out of Chiavari. Andrea, the host, also looked after us and made sure that nothing was missing.
Our host Bruce was so lovely and the view was breathtaking. To get into Chiavari without a car, there's a short walk down the hill to the bus stop and shops if you need.
