Surrounded by the vegetation of Punta del Pecoraro, the Sunbay Park Hotel is 1 km from the Porto Riva di Traiano Marina, is 60 km from Rome's GRA ring road.

**Positive:** - Beautiful sea view. - Large parking area available. **Negative:** The hotel is in very poor condition. The facilities are outdated and poorly maintained, with many issues: - **Bathroom problems:** Cracked toilet seat, partial flushing function, mold on walls. - **Furniture & equipment:** Old and worn-out tiles and furnishings, peeling paint, paint stains on furniture. - **Balcony & terrace:** Balcony door doesn’t close properly, terrace is neglected. - **Cleanliness:** Questionable hygiene standards. - **Appliances:** - The refrigerator is in terrible condition. - The air conditioning does not work. - The outdoor AC unit shows signs of corrosion. **Overall:** The place requires urgent renovation and better maintenance. Not recommended in its current state.

Hotel Tenuta dell'Argento Resort has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Civitavecchia. The accommodation features room service, a business centre and luggage storage for guests.

For us the location was perfect, we have two small dogs so it was nice to be out of the city and there was plenty of space to walk them. The breakfast was very nice and the view from the restaurant is incredible.

Hotel Mediterraneo is located on the Civitavecchia seafront, just 500 metres from the harbour. It offers free parking, and air-conditioned rooms with a minibar, satellite TV and private bathroom.

Buyer beware! The description of the hotel on the website is pure fiction. Reality is a slightly upgraded hostel with minimalist furniture, outdated, no room safe for valuables, no comfortable sitting area in room (there are worn old couches in the lobby), little security - the doors have old Yale like locks, the bed has small flat and very uncomfortable pillows. The toilet ceased to work at least 3 times in one day. The list is endless. Through many years of international travel I have never given such a scathing review.

    Best access for cruise departures.

    Best access for cruise departures. Staying in Rome makes one vulnerable to train strikes (which occured after I purchased our tickets at the airport to depart immediately for Civitavvechia). Other passengers talked of the chaos of exiting their Rome hotel during a marathon.

    We went there a day before our cruise date and had less than a day to explore and wished we could have stayed longer ( next time, we will). The city has a lot to offer, scenery, restaurants and cultural places.

    Di not have a great experience.

    Di not have a great experience. Room was in dark office/ business building. No elevator on first floor for handicap person. Limited number of rooms, no front desk, communication only by phone of email. No real person . Difficult to locate. Website does not tell the accurate description of the facility Had to make alternative plans when I arrived t go else where. Very disappointed . Please return money. Thanks

    Instead of staying in Rome prior to our cruise, for this trip we opted to stay the night in Civitavecchia. We enjoyed the ambience of the walkways on the bulkhead, with a plethora of excellent restaurants and views along the waterfront. Our dinner was wonderful, and we enjoyed our brief stay prior to our cruise.

    We were there for only one night before a cruise. We met up with our friends at the Black Lodge, which is an Irish Pub. Dinner just down the street at L'Acqua Salata was one of the best we had in Italy! We traveled from Rome to Civitavecchia by the high speed train for 21.5 Euro per person. Very convenient. We ended up walking from the train station to our B&B in town, which was a bit of a long walk. We didn't see any taxis, and we would have had to wait for a bus, so we walked.

    The best place to stay in Civitavecchia. I don't always review hotels, but this place was worth a mention! A smaller BnB that focuses on the personal touch to guests. Unlike any other hotel we have stayed in. A welcome drink which was great and the breakfast was fantastic, a proper aunthenic experience. Everything you could need. Just 5 min walk or less from the train station. If you're staying here for a night before your cruise departure, I would absolutely recommend It!!

    The hosts of this apartment were exceptional and went above and beyond to help when my husband was taken to hospital. The location of the apartment was wonderful. In a beautiful part of Civitavecchia, steps from many restaurants and cafes, the promenade and shops.The inclusion of vouchers for breakfast at the cafe below the apartment was a lovely touch.

    Location was great. We easily walked into the city and back. Transport buses to the port were only a few metres away. Staff very friendly and there was good communication re transport etc. They booked our transport from Rome airport to the hotel. Good restaurants in the area. Breakfast on our second day was great :)

    We loved everything about this hotel. The hotel is sparkling clean and the staff is very friendly and super helpful. Ana is the best. She greeted us with a drink and a cappuccino and told us everything we wanted to know about the city. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting Cevitavecchia.
