Friendly receptionist. We arrived quite late at night and left early to catch our 06:00h flight therefore we did not see much of the hotel and surroundings. Hotel was clean and very quiet.

It is a lovely peaceful hotel not so far from the sea and close to the highway. The room was fully renovated, clean. The stuff were nice and the we had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. At the end of our stay I got a bottle of wine from the owner which was really lovely from him. I highly recommend this hotel.

The view, the patio and public swimming area were highlights. Super friendly owners, your only risk is not getting to eat the very nice breakfast if you start a conversation with them :)

Clean apartment, not far from the port where you can have a swim too. The restaurant on the corner was good for dinner. Modern bathroom, good sized shower.

When was the last time you came across a maître d'hôtel who sees his job as an art form of creating memorable moments? Fabrizio deserves a PhD in hospitality, as does the rest of the team. Catarina is a receptionist who doubles as a well-versed local guide and a professional from head to toe. She remained tolerant and kind even when a demanding guest vexed her over the phone. How wonderful it is to be a guest in a hotel where you are not just a number but a cherished guest for whom each staff member goes the extra mile. The extraordinary experience continued at breakfast
The new management, Minor Hotels, understands the essence of hospitality. Their involvement is a guarantee of quality. Their portfolio comprises over 550 hotels spread around the globe. Are you familiar with names such as Anantara, Avani or NH Hotels? Finally, we must compare the former Hotel Falisia with the new Hotel Tivoli. A breath of fresh air and a new hospitable approach have helped the hotel evolve. The architecture is ageing elegantly, acquiring a refined patina. Not least, the diversified offerings give the hotel substance. The question remains: which is better - the former Hotel Falisia or the new Hotel Tivoli? Although we prefer to avoid answering such questions, the numbers speak for themselves. Hotel Tivoli is captivating and designed for those who want premium quality. In this light, Tivoli Portopiccolo Resort is eyeing other flagship incentive hotels that dot the Adriatic and aiming to claim the top spot.
Just 2 km from Sistiana Beach, this family-run hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The picturesque Duino Castle is a 5-minute drive away.

Conveniently located on the main road into Sistiana which is only a 5 minute walk away. Warm welcome, large spacious room (even though I’d booked a single) and wonderful buffet breakfast.
With a central yet quiet location in Monfalcone, Hotel Excelsior provides free parking and a sweet and savoury breakfast buffet each morning that includes fresh fruit.
Hotel Ai Sette Nani lies in the small seaside town of Sistiana, a 15-minute drive from Trieste. Some rooms feature a balcony with views of the Adriatic Sea.

Very spacious and clean room. We even had a jacuzzi! Really above expectations. Great breakfast and very good food in the restaurant for diner.
Rosanda and her husband are very gentle and friendly people. We felt so welcome at their house. The flat is perfect for spending vacations as family because of two bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need and even more (if you're ok with not having an dish washer for your hollydays). Duino is a lovely unspectacular place to be. But perhaps because of this it's not so touristic. We enjouyed that a lot. And there's a lot to do very nearby. We we're very glad having our bikes with us.
We were in Duino for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by Stella Maris. Super nice host, wide rooms, airconditioning, good breakfast and perfect location to explore Duino and the surroundings (5 min by foot to the Castle and the Rilke path)
This little hotel is an absolute gem, Being just a little hotel it delivered more than expected. Breakfast was the best we had on our travels this year.
