Beautiful view, friendly staff (Daddo and Angela were helpful and cheerful), we didn't get a chance to enjoy the facilities much because we were out touring but the restaurant was exceptional and the breakfast was also wonderful--varied and delicious. Room and bed were comfortable, great water pressure.

The hotel itself is beautiful, really well done. The grounds were well kept and pleasant to walk around in. The room was huge, with very high vaulted and painted ceilings. Large bathroom / sitting room. Giant doors, a very large private terrace with an amazing view of the sea and the grounds. The room was kept at a very comfortable temperature also. It's a short walk to Herculaneum, and there are some nice restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk as well. Amazing staff, always went above and beyond.
A few yards from the entrance to the Herculaneum excavations, this 18th-century villa offers large, modern rooms overlooking the sea or the 82 ft² grounds surrounding the hotel.

Decent place for a short stay around the city-area. Clean rooms and a big parking area to leave your car. Excellent view from the balcony and really quiet place to enjoy your sleep. A super market and dinning selections are very close , about a 2 minutes walk.

Beautiful old villa; loved the quirky doors. Ideal location, a short walk to the Herculaneum ruins and easy train or taxi ride to Pompeii or to Napoli. Host Francesca was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations; we particularly enjoyed the excellent restaurant Vive Lo Re across the street. She also recommended for us an outstanding private guide, Marily, who guided us through Pompeii one day and Herculaneum the next. She had an in-depth understanding of the history of the ancient towns and patiently answered our numerous questions; we particularly liked how she was able to point out interesting details we might have missed otherwise.

Villa Cua is in a cool old building, conveniently located to public transit. It was comfortable and clean. Despite being located on a fairly busy street, we slept well thanks to the good quality windows and doors. The hosts were professional and very responsive.

The hotel is in a gorgeous old palazzo that has been beautifully and elegantly restored. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The room was very large and beautiful and had an amazing view over the Bay of Naples. It is walking distance to the Herculaneum ruins and about 25-30 minutes’ drive from Pompeii.

The Ercolano ruins were fascinating and the guide who took us around was excellent. The size of the site was more manageable than Pompeii. The town seemed pretty run down and the train station was basic but cheap trains to Naples, Pompeii or Sorrento as and when they run!

The Herculaneum is good to visit.
The Herculaneum is good to visit. A morning or afternoon is plenty of time to wander the ancient site. We found the actual town a bit run down but perfect for accessing Naples, Pompeii and all the other sites on the coast.

Came specifically to see the Parco Archaeologico which was amazing. Perfect time in the off season due to fewer tourists and so could move around easily and see everything with no queues. The audio guide was exceptional.

A very interesting insight into life 2000 years ago in Italy. The museum has a wonderful collection of interesting finds, beautifully displayed.
The discovery of a small fishing boat and related items which have been preserved and given their own building are well worth a visit. The finds are incredible and the way they have been saved so that we can see them today is very interesting.
The discovery of the bones of many people who fled to the shoreline and hid in arches under the city hoping to be saved are really quite remarkable, a little macabre for me but I still wanted to see them.
Much smaller than Pompei and easier to navigate. Lots of wonderful frescoes and mosaics. A memorable visit!

Ercolano itself is not very cosmopolitan, the main reason to go is the archaeological site which is brilliant.
Travel to Pompei is not easy, the direct express train only runs four to six times a day, and tickets must be bought online.
The local Circumvesuviana train is best, but you need to change at Torre Annunziata. No-one tells you this.

The hotel is located in XVIII century house with a charming park, lemon trees, palms, fountain. Rooms are big with tall painted ceiling and old style doors with electronic keys :). The train station is in 10 min walk, then you can get to centre of Napoli or Pompei in 20 min. The ruins of Ercolano are also 10 min walk (exceeded our expectations). Furthermore, there are plenty of small excellent restaurants nearby. Also, on request, you can get a private taxi driver to get you anywhere you need (airport or Vesuvio) for 45-50 eur.
Perfect in every respect! The best of the four apartments we stayed in on our trip (and the overall standard in Italy was high). Ideal location for the train station, restaurants and ruins. The apartment block is in a gated compound which is smarter than everything else around. The apartment was spotlessley clean. Two good sized bedrooms. The owner, Lucia, strived to ensure that we had the best possible experience. Everything we needed thoughtfully provided. All of the checking-in and checking-out arrangements were smooth.
Beautifully located hotel, over ruins of ancient Herculaneum. Staff was absolutely exceptional. I hadn't met such amazing staff before. I felt completely looked after and felt like I am at home. Perfect place to explore the Naples Bay.
Hosts were excellent, helpful and friendly. Room is superb and the bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Everything provided that you would want. Location just near the train station and near to Herculaneum ruins.
Close to Ercolano ruins. Nice apartments with balcony close to a public beach.
Breakfast served in our room with a multi choice of cakes omelette .. etc.
