    Very quiet location, just the sounds of the animals and the river. We liked the fact that it was outside the small town of Fivizzano and a fairly brisk walk up to the lovely town where there was everything you needed. A great location for walking, both around Fivizzano and also a short drive way up further into the hills. The views of the Apuan Alps are amazing with so many well marked walking and MTB trails to choose from. It is an area of Italy really worth exploring.

    Owners are super friendly and very helpful. It is the perfect place to relax. Architecture is just great and the room design is superb. If I would search for a place to relax, this would be the one. If I would open a Hotel, I would hire these two guys, to coach the personal, to design the rooms and to bring the proper energy. Thank you!

    Podere Groppini is a lovely place, close to the center of Fivizzano, only 10 walk. But if you are in the cottage you feel like there is no civilization around you: nature, birds singing, no traffic... we enjoyed our 6-night-stay very much. Giovanna and Massimo are very kind people and made the cottage and our stay very cozy.
