Absolutely fantastic location with breathtaking view, friendly stuff, very good breakfast and exellent restaurant open for dinner. Nice live piano music in the lobby bar in the evening, pleasant atmosphere everywere. Not far away from a small seaside town with a picturesque promenade, nice shops and very delicious restaurants

Everything was exceptional about our stay at Miramare - from the friendliness of the staff, the tastiness of the food, the cleanliness of the rooms and all the amenities... The destination is a bit tricky to get to but honestly worth all the trouble for that location and the experience.

True to the pictures which attracted us in first place, Hotel Capizzo provided a very pleasant stay for our family. The reception gave us sea-view rooms next to one another without even having to ask for, paid good attention during our stay, and were even super kind to post forgotten items after we left. The beaches are a nice sunny walk away, with a gentle bit of uphill - much needed for the unavoidable caloric surplus. Good breakfast and ok restaurant, with top alternatives nearby, like 'Da Vito'. Great Location overlooking the port

Very good breakfast. It is possible to have lunch/dinner as well and it is excellent. If you do not use that, you can have a dinner in close restaurants. The stuff was nice and heplfull. A room has been equiped by nice terrace where you have beutiful view for sea and Vesuv as well. If you have chance you can see sunrise from a terrace. Bathroom and beds were better than standard. It is pretty close to downtown, with small shops and restaurants The biggest surprise for me was, that the hotel really works like spa with pools with termal or warn sea water and several whirpools. We enjoyed it very much and it was relaxing. For travelling on the island we used public transport - buses, which I would highly reccommend, the streets there are very thin and the public transport is well organized and frequent.

We stayed in 3 different hotels on Ischia (same location): Punta, Villa Myremi and Torre Sant Angelo. Punta has a unique looking like a cave tunnel with thermal water. Torre has the best views and a good breakfast (15 EUR if you not in hotel), and Villa Myremi has the best value for money and customer care. At Punta we enjoyed a transfer from the bus stop and a nice greeting from the hotel. We also enjoyed staying for few more hours at the pool after check out. Thank you for this. We had a room with a sea view. It was OK. The views from our room in Torre were amazing, much better. Punta has 2 swimming pools: one small and one long with a unique, looking like a cave tunnel. This was a highlight of our stay. I’ve never seen anything like this. We loved it. Both pools have thermal water with healing properties. But keep in mind that these waters bore various components of radium, radon, thorium, uranium, and actinium. Together with this the radioactivity is so low that it is not harmful. It’s still recommended to remain immersed for no more than 15 minutes. 10 min down the stairs from hotel you can find the sea. Please keep in mind that Sorgeto beach is not sandy or pebbled. It has big rocks, some sharp with lots of fish and crabs in the water. Baia di Sorgeto is also a public thermal springs with a number of visitors during the day, but it’s empty till 8am. In Torre (our 3rd hotel) they have 3 pools, but nothing like a unique tunnel of Punta. In addition, in Torre they have a wellness center with a sauna, whirlpool, steam room, hot/cold/massage showers. No additional charges. I enjoyed it. There are 3 restaurants at Punta. One is for breakfast (8-10). There is an additional menu for extras like scrambled eggs (from 5 EUR). Another restaurant is for lunch (12-17, but we once came at 16:25 and were told they are closing). Here you can order food like salads and brushettas. If you want hot food like pastas go to Da Gisela.
