Heaven on earth. Starting from greeting us when we came, continuing to an amazing room, then to have the entire amazing spa just for ourselves, moving on to an amazing outdoor sitting around the fire place, eating an incredible vegetarian dinner, and outstanding breakfast. The property was Clean, spacious, and beautiful. There was lots of parking and amenities were available. The pool was great (unheated) on a hot day. We just stayed the night as it was a pit stop for us. The host was so lovely and breakfast was delicious.

This is a spacious, beautifully-decorated home with a large garden. Comfortable beds, quiet, a very functional kitchen (watch your head in the kitchen - "low bridge" like many traditional borghi homes), The host family was extremely helpful - meeting us when we arrived in Vicalvi, leading us to the home, offering to help carry luggage, helping us navigate the narrow streets, and providing us a wonderful fresh-baked cake for our breakfasts. If we could give Il Falconiere a rating of 11, or 15, or 20, we would! We had booked Il Falconiere at the last minute, as replacement for another villa which wasn't working out, and it turned out to be the best stay of our trip to Italy. My wife's first comment on arrival was "This place is *fantastic*!!".
