We had a fantastic stay at Porta d'Alpi. It is centrally located in Latronico--just a short walk from the main square and stores and restaurants. The owner provides you with breakfast and coffee at the local cafe which is wonderful. We cafe macchiato and cornetto with marmelade everyday. The apartment is spotless with a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and a pretty balcony. We were also able to use the washing machine. I can not say enough amazing things about Ivan (our host). He gave me so many excellent recommendations for hiking and made our stay perfect. Thank you so much for everything! We will come back soon.

The house was like it is in the photos. It is newly renovated and looks and functions good. Amazingly clean. The shower was great! The bed was perfect! The host was great, cares about the property and the guest's experience. The area is quiet. I stayed there with a 4 year old son and an adult daughter. The size of the home was perfect for us. We took the bus to the town from the airport and walked to the house with suitcases and backpacks. The house was a nice walk to town for food and just looking around. My 4 year old looked forward to walking around the area each day.

The property sits in the hills, in a very quiet location.Sadly the hotel wasn’t fully open, there was a young guy Eros I believe was his name who was working, he tried very hard given he spoke very little English, the bar wasn’t open, nor was the restaurant, Eros organised us some drinks, we found a local hotel/ restaurant on Trip advisor, where we had a fantastic local super. Sadly we didn’t have the best sleep as the beds were fairly basic & not very comfortable, the rooms were squashed & didn’t have side tables, we had a power cut in the morning which didn’t help. Breakfast was poor, pre packed cakes etc..All in all our stay wasn’t the best, given the hotel only had a few quests we could of been given lovely rooms, our stay was slightly odd & a little creepy.
