Great Location, but Disappointing Noise Issues I recently stayed at this hotel and had unfortunately rather bad feelings. On the plus side, the breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The parking was convenient, and the location was perfect—just a 7-minute walk to key areas, making it very easy to explore. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience feel welcoming. However, the major downside for me was the lack of soundproofing, which severely impacted my stay. While this may be common in Italy, it was a huge issue here. I could clearly hear sounds from the adjacent rooms, such as guests using the toilet, the loud flushing, and even the sound of someone taking a shower. This disturbed my sleep significantly. If you're someone who is a light sleeper, I would strongly advise against staying here. It was a big disappointment and unfortunately overshadowed the otherwise positive aspects of the hotel. Overall, the hotel had great potential, but the noise problem was a dealbreaker for me. Would not recommend it to light sleepers! I've tried changing the room but the hotel was fully booked.

Il Faro is right on the harbour in Sorrento, which is great if you are thinking of visiting 1 of the islands. Have a traditional Neapolitan pizza at the Vela Bianca restaurant.

A really beautiful hotel with amazing views, staff friendly, helpful and very professional. Large bright airy room with relaxing decor. Very comfortable bed with great pillows. Free shuttle bus at your desposal. Really good breakfast with lots of choice. I would highly recommend Hotel Cristina to anyone looking for a hotel run with pride.
