I come to italy every year
I always book at this hotel because its near the metro station where i plan to move
This is the good thing about it
This time i had issues with the hotel
These people need to work on maintaining the hotel more
- internet is insanely slow
- ac is not working its very old
A problem i face every time i stay in that hotel
They need to make the facilities better
But overall the staff is great location is good for me i loved the place and will come stay in it again just hoping they fix these issues

This was my second visit and I wanted to avoid as far as possible going where I had been before except for the Last Supper. Note I failed to get a booking - if you are going book that one item at least 3 months in advance. Two places of great note are the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana. I booked for the latter and probably at busy times I would have done so for the other. Great art galleries - you name an Italian Renaissance artist and he is represented in one or other or both. Ambrosiana has the Raphael cartoon of the Greek School! It will take your breath away - absolutely stunning. Notable that given what I said about Italian artists there were 2 notable absentees Parmigianino and Artemesia Gentileschi (the greatest woman artist ever bar none!) Both galleries are close to the Duomo (great place - try the roof if you can) and the Sforza Palace - again really interesting place. Be warned Milanese restaurants can be very expensive - Euro100 per head is not unusual if you want to spend the money. There are cheaper places but you have to look.

Very nice place.
Very nice place. I would come back again to discover its secrets. Excellent restaurants, charming places to visit near Milan, well-organized transportation, very tasty food, incredible gelato, a place that invites you to come back again. But don't forget that one of the important things when traveling is the company, and Milan is suitable to get to know and discover both with a loved one and with friends or for a family trip.

Milan is amazing, the transport is also amazing once you get the measure of it.
Lots to see, lots of places to visit, The food, wine, beer is amazing but be choosy, there are lots of places just want your money and not that good. The people are on the whole very welcoming.
Its not important, but just a few words of Italian go a long way, if they can see you are making the effort, most people go out of their way to help you.

I’m not a big fan of Milano because it’s mainly a business/shopping city, and it’s too crowded and loud. I recommend doing a walking tour and book the last supper with time if you don’t want to spend a fortune for a last minute ticket. Have a drink in the terrace with a view to the Duomo and dinner next to the canal. The Scala has a lot of history for music and opera. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay to attend. For me, a day and a half in Milano is plenty.

We didn’t get chance to explore Duomo but we did visit the canalside - car boot/flea market on the Sunday - lined with many busy restaurants. We did the typical wander around the high-end stores near Duomo and enjoy an authentic Italian gelato. We enjoyed a full day trip via coach & boat to Lake Como, stopping at Bellagio and hopping over the Swiss border to Lugano. Next time - we will get the train to Bologna and also consider the Bernina train - we just didn’t have time on this trip.

A big city but easy to get around.
A big city but easy to get around. Surprisingly friendly locals. Many wonderful museums (easy to overdose on Leonardo da Vinci) so plenty to do in the rain (frequent) as well as some good places to wander off the main tourist drag (Galleria was mobbed in mid-March!). Naviglio area was charming and easy to reach from the centre. Castle Sforza is extraordinary with ?10 museums within its walls as well as battlement walks (separate ticket) and a large park beyond it.

beautiful place to stay when you are in Milan. Close to the city centre and in the middle of night life - absolutely in the heart of Naviglio Grande. You get out of the hotel and you walk by the canal and just choose which one bar you will drink in, but when you come back into the hotel, you come to one cosy, historic and calm place with comfort rooms, delicious breakfast and super kind and helpfull staff. i hope we will come back
Excellent position and very good breakfast. Friendly staff; the room was clean and free water was provided.
The location of the hotel is perfect if you need to go to the city centre, and the railway station ("Milano Centrale" the main railway station) is not too far, walking distance. Shops and supermarkets around.
Very close Central station Milan. Around hotel is good restaurants. Good breakfast. Rooms is clean, but hotel need restoration. Nearby is metro station, who get you to Milan city centre. Comfortable room, with good air conditioner system. Very friendly staff. Room is availables fridge.
Nice hotel on the outskirts of Milano, but near the subway station (and not that far from city centre if you don't mind the walk). The equipment is older, but the price outweights it. The location was very quiet.
We usually skip hotel breakfasts in Italy but this was superb. It gave us so much energy we walked into the city centre and back and still had time to make our midday flight. Excellent staff too.
