Certainly:
The apartment provided a welcoming respite during a brief spell of cold weather, with the owner promptly activating the heating upon our arrival. We were greeted with a gracious gesture—a bottle of wine crafted on-site. True to its description, the accommodation was immaculate, featuring thoughtful additions such as coffee, biscuits, and ample water supply. The bathroom boasted a generous provision of toiletries and sufficient toilet paper, alleviating concerns often encountered during our travels. The presence of the hospitable host and her accommodating parents, who reside on the premises, ensured any needs were promptly attended to.
A highlight of our stay was the insightful tour of the property's wine production, complete with comprehensive explanations of their wines and olive oil offerings. The spacious layout of the apartment, including the comfortable bed, expansive living areas, and sizable bathroom with a commendable shower, provided ample space for two occupants. Notably, the prompt availability of hot water further enhanced our stay.
We wholeheartedly endorse this serene countryside retreat. Located just a short distance from the charming hilltop town of Montecarlo in Tuscany, guests have easy access to an array of dining options. Moreover, the property's proximity to major thoroughfares facilitates convenient exploration of nearby attractions, including Pisa, Lucca, and the Puccini Villa. The added convenience of secure parking on-site further enhances the appeal of this accommodation.

Beautiful property in the heart of Tuscany, in Montecarlo. The room was clean and well maintained with really interesting furniture. The staff were welcoming both at the reception and at the restaurant. Free gated parking is a plus. Great value for money! Restaurant was good but did not impress me.

exceptional, authentic accommodation, and food. The owners were absolutely lovely and accommodating. It’s a beautiful area and town. I can’t recommend it highly enough both in terms of authentic experience and amazing food.

Montecarlo is an excellent village on a hilltop close to Lucca. The village is very lively in the evening, with many restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, like in many other locations where demand exceeds supply, we had some negative experiences with restaurant owners who were rude and not flexible with tourists.
Fortunately, those were a few exceptions, while most restaurants were friendly and gentle.

This is a small quaint mountain village surrounded by a wall. Parking for visitors is outside the wall. There is an old fortress Rocca di Montecarlo which is privately owned and open to visitors on weekends only. The Teatro dei Rassicurati (Theatre of the Reassured) must be the tiniest theatre ever and has an interesting history. The staff of the Tourist Office have a key and you can go inside free of charge. The Main Street is Via Romana and from the small square you get wonderful views over the countryside. The bell of the tower chimes every hour and can be seen for miles around. There are plenty of eating places and we saw quite a few visitors, some had come by bicycle, and we even saw a bus tour. Olive groves and vineyards are a common sight.

The house was beautiful and perfectly furnished. Extremely spacious for all of our family, all 10 of us. The garden was extensive and made the stay so much better as we could chill outside and the kids could play in the pool. Paolo and his family went above and beyond to make our stay as special as possible. Sharing their wine, home grown fruit and running us to Montecarlo and the train station. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. This is a perfect place to stay for a quiet family relaxing holiday.
The breakfast was different every morning with lovely freshly baked cakes, breads and pastries.
The location was ideal to visit monte Carlo and local restaurants with great views.
The host and her family really made our stay extra special, helping to organise/book restaurants, guiding to local attractions, amazing breakfast freshly made, toys and books for our infant were very helpful.
We will certainly be returning.
We loved the space and the layout of the hotel and individual rooms. The attention to detail for comfort was exceptional. Breakfast was traditional, custom to your liking and delivered privately each morning. The pool was fabulous and the view was incredibly breathtaking. To add to this the town was quietly and perfectly a tiny delight of authentic Italy.
The location was exactly where we wanted to be. We felt in the heart of the very famous wine region outside Lucca. The resort is a short walk to Montecarlo and we wanted to spend time there.
The hostess, Francesca, should become an example of how hosting should be: polite, helpful, discreet, friendly and very sweet. None of us wanted to leave Montecarlo!
