Epic location with fantastic Tuscan views overlooking the hills. Around 25 min drive from the beach. Pietro was very friendly, made us breakfast to take to our room/terrace. La Locanda, Volterra, The hotel was easy to find and close to two pay parking lots. The staff was friendly and helpful! Our room had a comfy bed, large bathroom with a big towel warming rack. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay in such comfortable surroundings. The breakfast room was nicely appointed and breakfast options included hard boiled eggs, a good selection of sweet and savory items and coffee made to order. We throughly enjoyed the updated Guarnacci Museum full of Etruscan treasures!
