LaChiusa Tuscany is set in an ancient oil mill in the Tuscan countryside. Featuring stone walls and antique rural furniture, it enjoys lovely views of the Montepulciano landscape.

Beautiful property with magnificent views and close proximity to Montepuluchiano. Very comfortabke beds, lots of places to sit around the property and enjoy a glass of wine served by the very attentive staff. The food was fantastic including the tasting menu which was delicious. Breakfast was beautifully presented and the staff were so helpful they even set up an outside breakfast for us at the last minute because the sun was shining.
Offering a garden and garden view, Da Leo is situated in Montefollonico, 24 km from Bagno Vignoni and 36 km from Bagni San Filippo.

Located in a nice little town, a quiet place with a beautiful view from the window. The bed is very comfortable.
The host, Leo, was very attentive and gave us lots of recommendations.
There was free parking.
Remember there is no breakfast; in the morning, you could get coffee and a cornetto in the only bar in town. Also, there was a supermarket nearby.
Boasting a garden and views of mountain, B&B Il Glicine is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Montefollonico, 15 km from Terme di Montepulciano.

This is an exceptional hotel in an exceptional location. The breakfast was excellent and beautifully served in the garden, offering an incredible view of the landscape. The personnel were very helpful and friendly. We toured several small cities in Tuscany, and among all the locations and hotels, this one stood out as the best by far. I can only recommend it further.
Featuring quiet street views, Madonnina Tuscany House offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 25 km from Bagno Vignoni. This apartment features barbecue facilities.

Great location in a lovely village. Hosts were very helpful
How many people can say they’ve stayed in a 15th-century convent? You can if you book Relais Chiostro di Pienza, a charming hotel set right in the heart of Pienza.
Only 150 metres from the centre of Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Piccolo Hotel La Valle offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Val D'Orcia valley, where you can enjoy breakfast.

IMO, this is the most picturesque part of Tuscany - rolling hills, long views from hilltop towns, the typical cypress-lined driveways to farmhouses... It's difficult to pick the most beautiful place in Tuscany, there are so many! However, this is a really nice area. Montefollonico is a small hilltop town / village with a large gate, a cute church outside of the old walls, and a church in the middle of the village. There's a good restaurant at the gate (called "13 Gubbio"). You are surrounded by farmland, and you can see Montepulciano on an adjacent hill, and the San Biagio church. It is not far from Pienza, Montechielo, San Quirin and Montalcino, all famous towns in a world-class wine producing area. We stayed for 2 days, I think an extra day or two would have been perfect (but we had other pre-arranged plans).

We love Montefollonico, but we aren't going to tell you that, so you won't touristify the place. We would talk about Ristorante Gobbi 13, but that's a secret too. We sure aren't telling you about Bar Sport. Stay away.

If you want to experience the beauty of "Under the Tuscan Sun' then go to Montefollonico. Much less busy than Cortona, a bit of a hideaway stay without compensation of comfort and convenience. The village has everything a dream vacation in Tuscany can offer: fab view, yummy foods, not commercialized, heritage authentic stone-built houses in completely quiet and peaceful area.

This is one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, and hence of Italy. You are in the country, but near to many charming small towns and villages, and other tourist sites; You can easily take day trips to different locations from here, in a peaceful relaxing atmosphere

Very tiny, but great medieval city, with small supermarket with local Tuscany food and all daily necessities. We have bee for dinner in local Ristorante 13 Gobbi - memorable ( in a full positive way) experience. Local wine producer Innocenti has a Cantina with direct wine selling - beautiful Rosso di Montepulciano, Vino Nobile.... You can taste their wines and buy on the spot. Small city is good starting place to visit Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Sienna... I was happy about my choice to choose accommodation here at Da Leo guesthouse.

The property is huge, 15 mins away by car to Montepulciano and with beautiful views. It is our third time in the area and we definitely got everything we needed. Electric bikes can be rented from Montefollonico to explore the area. Each room (which there are seven + a whole separate apartament) has its own bathroom and A/C. The rooms are very comfortable and there is enough shade and sunbeds by the pool for everyone. The garden surrounding the property is also a home to a family of cats, which are very friendly and adorable!
This resort was stunning and really captured the magic of Tuscany. The staff were all so helpful and especially the restaurant and dining. We highly recommend dining there. Laurene and Nik were especially helpful
Breakfast is a MUST! Best menu!
The hotel host was really attentive to our needs and also graciously gifted us a platter of cheese and meat when he saw us drinking wine and beer on our balcony
What a wonderful accommodation in the small, quiet town of Montefollonico. Leonardo is a really kind, helpful, communicative host and the room was incredibly comfortable and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here and going to the panoramic view at sunset - spectacular.
Everything was perfect. Montefollonico is a lovely place and the appartment is great. The host even brought us lights for the terrace upon our request.
