We’ve been there for 10 days and really enjoy the apartment in the local area. The landlord Susanna was pretty nice and careful about us. A quiet area, with a good kind of furnishing. You don’t have to drive far for grocery shopping or daily activities. If you should have any questions beyond tourist destinations, or food recommendations - Susanna always likes to assist you. It was an excellent stay and I recommend it to everybody who likes to enjoy spending his vacation in the areas ner to Triest.

Our stay at Serendipity apartment was impecable, comforting and lovely. The apartment and the rooms were clean, neat and the furniture as well as the kitchen-ware were new and polished. When we arrived we were greeted by hospitable and smiling owners who showed us the rooms all one by one. In the morning there were a variety of coffee and a homemade breakfast. The experience was great and we would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone.
Savoia Excelsior Palace overlooks the Bay of Trieste in the city centre.

Opted for the car valet service for parking as there is a limited amount of space directly at the hotel entrance - service was much appreciated.
Really amazed by the room and view - everything matched to what was promised.
Bar staff were very friendly and attentative.
Could not have wished for a better location and despite being on the main road the room was quiet at all times of the day and night.

Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.

We liked Muggia.
We liked Muggia. It is small and easy to navigate the old town. The main Piazza has several bars and cafes, friendly and welcoming for a drink or a meal, and fun for people watching. There are more cafes and bars towards the waterfront. Just stroll around and enjoy the relative tranquility.
We arrived in Trieste by train, taxi to Muggia was around 35 euros. We took a day trip back to Trieste by ferry (fun in itself), and did lots of walking from Muggia. It's a nice respite from the tourist circuit, and so pretty with stone buildings and small alleyways, plus the castle (exterior) and Duomo to enjoy. Muggia Vecchio, up on the hill behind, was well worth the walk.

The apartment is in a narrow alley in the centre of Muggia. The whole building has been renovated and furnished in a slightly rustic, romantic but really tasteful style. The building has three rooms with separate bathrooms and a common kitchen area which is fully equipped. We really appreciated the breakfast and the unlimited coffee provided by the kind host. Our room was on the second floor and also had a small balcony, so we could read and chill outside.
The holiday home is in a calm area, but not far from Muggia's center. The hosts, Susanna and her husband, are very pleasant and welcoming. The patio where you can eat your meals or bath in the sun is so beautiful, ornated with flowers, olive trees and a nice view on the surrounding gardens and down into the valley. The holiday home has got everything you could wish for. There is also a small supermarket in the vicinity that sells fresh products.
Everything was perfect, great location (midway between Trieste and Muggia), the appartmen was squeaky clean and had all the amenities you can need and more. The beds were very comfy. The breakfast was amazing! The hosts were the most wonderful people ever and we’re definitely coming back again!
