One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region...
One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital of Barbaresco wine (together with the Barbaresco village itself) which together with Barolo wine are among the two best red wines in Italy. Nice hill side village. However tourist beware that food , wine and accommodation are over priced for what is a nice but not marvellous location when compared to what is available in other parts of Italy. In hindsight I think we should have avoided this region of Piemont.Guest review byDonal

Ca dei Curra is run by fantastic people who will do anything to make your stay as good as possible. The pool is perfect to cool down on a warm day. The place is spotless. Keep in mind that a walk into Neive will take you around 25 minutes. By car only a couple of minutes. Our room had a balcony with a panoramic view of the hills and valleys below, dotted with vineyards. Very modern, clean, comfortable room. There's a spirel staircase leading up to the Bed and balcony.
