Michele from reception was the best ever employee that i meet so far. She was very nice and supportive, she contacted me via wasp prior to arrival to give me useful information. It was so dedicated and so kind and i was relay impressed.
She gave me the room before check in time and made my day. (i had a long flight and i need to sleep)
I had also an emergency no in case i face any problems during the night (the reception is closed after midnight)
I did not have the chance to meet the rest of the staff, but they seem to be very polite and dedicated.

We walked from Hotel Maja to Corso Vitorio Emanuele II (less than a mile, and a nice walk) which is a lovely pedestrianised area, full of delis and restaurants and there's also an indoor food market. We also walked to the old town which was pretty much shut up on a Tuesday morning in February - however, it was full of bars and clubs and I'm sure it must be a really vibrant place in the summer. We ate in a cafe/restaurant called Posa in Corso Vitorio Emanuele II - lovely staff and atmosphere and the best Tiramisu ever!
Pescara beach is sandy and beautiful and has been designed with large rocky breaks to be safe for swimming and for youngsters to play in. I'm sure this is a hugely popular beach in the summer. In February it was just wonderfully quiet but enticing enough for us to take our shoes and socks off and to go for a bracing little paddle! We really enjoyed our stay in Pescara - I thoroughly recommend it.
Oh, and Pescara is such an easy city to fly into from the UK - a tiny airport with free parking on the road outside for pick-ups.

Pescara isn't the prettiest of cities but had everything we needed for a short trip as we were visiting the Sangro River War Graves Cemetery. It was also the end of the season so some places had closed. Also, the weather wasn't brilliant which probably didn't show the city in its best light.

City of Pescara is very walkable and felt very safe even at night. Spent all of visit north of river so cant comment about area to south. Transport to and from airport not very good. Its a good base to visit area either up into mountains or headed south along coast. Did'nt go north on the train but Ancona is only an hour away on Freccia Rossa. October weather very good, in fact too hot on some days. City has good shops and resaurants. Quite a lot of the centre is pedestrianised. They were still working on some of Corso Umberto 1, so not quite complete. Ate mainly at 2 places on Viale Regina Elena, Ristorante Birreria del Corso and Ceci Piccola Cucina, both very good. Perhaps will try the Sushi places I noticed nearby, next time. The burgers, if wanting a change from italian, at Frate Tac in Via Roma were very good. They also had a white Teramisu which was popular. Phone needed at this place, to download menu. Did'nt try the numerous restaurants on the beachfront, again, maybe next time. Not sure what to avoid in Pescara, the high season could be a bit too hot and very crowded although there is a jazz festival in later part of July each year. Might have to brave the heat.

Pescara is a very beautiful and quiet town.
Pescara is a very beautiful and quiet town. Beautiful beach, I really liked the sand, there were no shells on the beach. Climb the bridge where you will have a wonderful view of the entire city and the entire beach
Sufficient restaurants where you can eat, and if you love seafood, it is clearly the city you must visit.
I really recommend the city and would visit it again to go to the beach again.
You must not miss the gelato ( pistachio and coffee OMG) and try the seafood burger, it has a very interesting taste
( I ate a seafood burger at the Pesciolillo restaurant ).
I ate a good pistachio cheesecake at Piadapiave and unfortunately I tried pasta at Toccaferro but I didn't liked. I hoped to be homemade pasta but it wasn't

I would probably not recommend Pescara as the final destination. There is not too much to do there. I would propose to use other coastal city as the base for exploring Abruzzo and neighboring regions - Tremoli would be an example.

All was nice , good food , atmosphere, beach, landscapes , friendly people.
A bit problematic to get to the airport and from airport , sometimes you need a taxi which is from 20 EUR for ~ 8 min. If you want to eat in a good place in the city centre , better make reservation beforehand as everything can be booked.

The staff is really helpful, Breakfast was a bit short I would say, not that many options and with covid everything are inside the room. The location is perfect, in front of Pescara Train station, The public parking worked like a charm.
Even being in a really busy area we didn't hear a thing from the street.
the amount of facilities close to the hotel is another good point. Everything beautifully renovated
The shower is spectacular.
1. Newly refurbished, nicely smells.
2.Very cool bathroom.
3.Good breakfast, we’ve found also healthy stuff (not only sweet croissants)
4.We stayed in room 304 and didn’t hear the neighbors, which is VERY rare in Italy.
5.Friendly staff.
6.Location is 5 min away to the main bar streets and 10-12 min away from the sea.
One of the best apartment stays in Pescara.
Spacious, clean, all the toiletries provided with generous amount of beverage in the fridge. The owner was helpful and very quick to respond.
