Great location above a small secluded sandy beach. Nice room, beautiful bathroom. Great terrace with a view to the sea, a "rest" pool and a cosy lounge. Staff is also very kind and welcoming. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. Will definitely stay again. Parking is in the nearby street, had no issue to find a free slot. Restaurants are in a walking distance. Room service is also excellent.
Hotel Don Pedro is the ideal starting point for your unforgettable holiday in the South of Sardinia, set in front of San Pietro Island, surrounded by a host of landmarks.

Nice, friendly small town. with picturesque harbour and seafront, great for watching the sunset. There are afew bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. It was February when I visited so probably quieter than usual. There are a couple of little beaches. It is close to the port where you can get a ferry to the nearby islands.

Portoscuso is a wonderful town that's still off the beaten track in Sardegna. It has several beautiful beaches in walking distance, a Michelin listed restaurant, and is a perfect jumping-off point for Carloforte, Sant'Antioco, the Santa Barbara trail, and many other adventures!

Portoscuso is a nice small town of tuna fishermen.
Portoscuso is a nice small town of tuna fishermen. Offers a promenade along the coast, a marina and cruises to Carloforte on a small island of San Pietro. In the vicinity there is Porto Flavia - an extraordinary engineering solution 100 years old.

Portoscuso is a small town, outside the main tourist areas.
Portoscuso is a small town, outside the main tourist areas. The choice of restaurants is small, but even at the port "bistro" the food was absolutely great (except for the poor service). We didn't see a single cafe. There are bars, but more for locals. Generally not much to walk around the towns. However, the promenade along the coast, up to the large beach of Spiaggia di Portopaglietto is great, especially in the evening when it is lit up.
The very close industrial zone, chimneys and wind farms unfortunately take a lot away from the place. The approach to the town around this large complex is a bit depressing. However, fortunately without any negative effect on the quality and splendour of the sea.
Boat trips to caves are stunning.

One of my favourite beach towns in Sardinia.
One of my favourite beach towns in Sardinia. There's a lovely sea front, food is amazing and people are nice. Child/family friendly, good for couples and for young travellers alike. Easy to walk around the town and perfect location for taking the ferry to Carloforte and driving to nearby attractions (such as Masua, Porto Flavia, Mines in Carbonia and Iglesias,...).

The perfect boutique hotel - a real find! Newly renovated building done with great care and very good taste. Charming, spacious, well appointed and considered. Great position in a nice little seaside town right on a lovely beach with a delightful alfresco bar next door and restaurants nearby as well as the one onsite. good breakfast, easy parking and nice rooftop terrace with wallowing pool. Well run with lovely, kind and very helpful staff - very highly recommended.
Antontella is a great host, and we felt very comfortable in her house. The room was very nice, with a terrace and spacious bathroom next to the room. The breakfast was great, and served on the downstairs terrace. We really enjoyed visiting the town of Portoscuso which is a short drive from this location, or a 20 minute walk downtown. Highly recommended!
