Very secure building where the owner and his family live upstairs. We were met at the property by the owners and their friend who spoke English, Spanish, and of course, Italian. It was nice to have a translator at check-in. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Street parking was free and a short walk away parking was not a problem. There is a fully equipped laundry room. The owners checked in with us to see if we needed anything such as coffee, water, and he brought us water the second day. The owners couldn’t be any nicer and more accommodating. They were just beautiful. We should have asked for cutting board and a good kitchen knife however, since we travel with one for us, it wasn’t a problem. The unit had two mini split air conditioners, one in the kitchen area and one in the living room. They don’t do a great job cooling the bedroom which was down the hallway, A fan would fix that,but it was adequate for our stay because it was not too hot yet. The bedroom window. Windows in the back of the apartment have screens so you don’t have to worry about mosquitoes. If it’s cool outside, you do get some cross breeze. The bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of towels and linens. And plenty of hot water .There’s a great coffee machine in the kitchen for espresso. On check out the owner helped carry our bags downstairs and out to the car.
